We spent a week at this hotel. We wanted to stay centrally in the soho area without spending a fortune. Quality for price is the real plus for this place considering the average cost in Manhattan. Our 203 room was not big but large enough, especially if you are mainly looking for a place to sleep while using your time...

Stayed at this hotel for five nights. Friendly and helpfull staff and close to some of my favourite areas in NY; SoHO and East village. Small, but clean rooms and very happy to discover our room had a fridge. Very nice location and close to subway. I would stay here again!

We stayed for 5 days in April in this nice little hotel. The rooms are clean, the beds are fine and the staff is friendly and professional. there is complementary icecold water, tea and coffee in the small lobby. So compared to the price and if you have an intense wish of staying relatively cheap in central Soho, CITY ROOMS+...

Had a couple of days in NYC and stayed at City rooms Soho. The rooms are very small, but modern and clean. We stayed at 2nd floor, so there was a lot of noise from the street, and the room was shaking from the subway - would recomend a higher floor. But still I had a very good stay and...

We visited Manhattan in early March just as the storm was due to hit the city. We flew into JFK and had booked a room in City Rooms, we caught a yellow taxi which took us for a flat fare of $52 from the airport into Manhattan well worth the money. We arrived at 7pm and the sun had already...

This hotel is really good, thoose Bangladesh people really knows his work. They help you in everything, information, print tickets if you need, etc. They have coffee and chocolate free every time. City Rooms Soho have nice graphics details in walls and reception that really lets me feel in New York. Good and warm rooms, a desk to work and...

Very well located, near the subway and at a walking distance from the main attractions in Manhattan. The room was not very big but was very cosy and perfect for this trip purpose. A special word for the staff who was very friendly and helpful all the time. NEGATIVE: The traffic noise all day and night. But hey, it's New...

The room itself was a tight fit for two people with suitcases but being our first trip to NYC we dealt with it with minimal complaining! Great location, metro access just around the corner with convenience stores and restaurants all around. The staff were helpful when needed but in this price range service we didn't expect much. Overall a great...

I cannot say enough about how amazing the staff was during our stay! The manager, Ahmed, was so so so helpful and accommodating! The location is great as there is a subway stop right next to the hotel, but because of this, the train can be noisy. I am a deep sleeper so I never noticed. The room was clean...

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
