Just stayed a week in Room 4 and enjoyed every night. Location on the Upper East Side has easy access to the subway into town and just a short walk from Central Park. The area felt very safe with a large variety of restaurants and food outlets nearby. The room was a studio apartment that was spacious and had a...

Me and some friends were looking to visit New York for the first time and didn't want to book a few days and stay in a budget hotel so we found this magical place. It was great value for money and allowed us to spend a week in New York where we was able to enjoy everything at our own...

My wife and I stayed here twice during Nov Dec 2010 for a total of 11 nights. All communications around fact finding and booking were well handled by hosts. These are genuine people who offer a genuine friendly but discreet service. They were always there at important times and never seen when we didn't need them. We're from a warm...

This was a good place to stay, lovely rooms, great value and good location(lots of lovely restaurants near by). Room was noisy due to loud pipes and very noisy fridge! Our only criticism was no contact with the owners, perhaps over the 6 days would have been nice to see if we had any problems or questions. We were due...

We are couple with teenager from Australia. This is our first time to New York. Bubba and Bean Lodge is an excellent place to base yourself. The subway is on the corner and it is easy and safe way to get around. Jonathan and Clement are really helpful, can't do enough for you. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated....

We (family of 5) travelled from Brisbane, Australia to NYC in September 2010 for 6 night stay. I have to admit we were not too sure what to expect, even though the Trip Advisor feedback was all good. Well I can honestly say that Bubba and Bean (B&B) is first class. From the moment we arrived we felt at home....

We loved it at Bubba & Bean from the arrival to the departure 12 days later. Friendly (unobtrusive owners), great location in an interesting area, near the underground which takes you anywherre in the city, can walk down into Manhatten central in about 40 minutes through some interesting streets full of shops, restaurants & bars. Very clean appartment, comfy beds,...
