Loved our stay at the Strand in NYC. Great location within few blocks of Times Square, Fifth Ave Shopping and walking distance to Broadway and great restaurants. Rooftop bar with most amazing view of the Empire State Building
Stayed there for two weeks for a short company posting in New York. Great place for single and family stay. Helpful staff and easily accessible place.

Will start by saying I did ALOT of research looking for a hotel in NYC for us yo stay. As a family of 5 all the usual hotels required us to take 2 rooms (and wouldn't guarantee they would be interconnecting) which can make for...More

When I first got to my room at the AKA Times Square, I was impressed not only by the decor but by the generously sized space in this long term stay hotel. Because it is a long term, apartment style hotel each room has a...More

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

We went to whole foods which was a close walk and got most of the things we wanted, but we were just looking for breakfast foods. The whole foods is ok - lots of things were not stocked and they were extremely busy and very expensive! But it worked for us with getting a little bit of cereal, eggs, juice, etc. We used the Walgreens in Times Square for pop, water, and they also have fresh fruit and sandwiches. We noticed that AKA received a lot of deliveries while we were there that week! Wish we would have thought to do use a service such as Fresh Direct or Amazon! Enjoy your stay...Caesar is a wonderful resource and a great guy to talk to. He will point you in the right direction for restaurants and things to do!
