This hotel/hostel is definitely one of the best i have been to. I like the location, service was really good, people at the reception were always willing to help. There is nice kitchen with fridge where you can prepare your own meal, I was staying in the room for 2, which i find really good for that price. I booked...

Pros: - Convenient location, close to the subway station, Central Park, stores, and places to eat - We arrived at 6 AM and the two guys who helped us were very friendly and even took the time to write down how to ride the subway to get downtown. We couldn't check in until 3, but they offered us showers/bathroom and...

Since hotels in NYC are a rip-off and the minimum one can spend for a reasonably decent room with an en-suite bathroom is US$ 170/night, I decided to book at this hotel after a lot of research and reading the reviews on TA. I was a bit worried that the place might be a dump. Just returned from NYC and...

Great place to stay! Its hard to find good budget hotels in NYC but this one was real nice. We have been to 3 similar hotels in the upper west side and this one was best. On the whole we would come back anytime and recommend it, as long as you keep in mind the positive and negative comments that...

this hostel is a rare gem in New York. It is affordable and convenient - something you don't find often in New York. It is great that the hostel is not located near the busy city center. Instead, it is hidden in a residential neighborhood that has everything you need - restaurants, groceries, and even a mobile phone shop if...

I stayed at the 2bed room and it was good. I was just there to sleep. It was a clean room and clean sheets. I also left my stuff there while out since I was not afraid of my roommate stealing my dirty clothes. The only downfall I found was the shared restroom. As we all know, some people are...

We stayed in a two bed dorm on the 7th floor. It was a bunk bed in a room with a sink too. It was good to not have loads of people in the room. Room was a bit bland, just white walls with no pictures or anything but it was clean. Beds were comfy enough, squeaked a bit but...

The hotel is nice, safe, and clean, which is the major draw of this place. If you plan on relaxing, I don't recommend this place (see second paragraph). If you not planning on staying in your hotel much, I highly recommend this place since it 15 min from Central Park (entry access 100 St., 97 St. or 96 St.) and...
