This hostel is a fine place to stay in NYC on a budget, but nothing more than that. The room was very simple and the shared bathrooms were alright. The staff couldn't really recommend any good local restaurants and they ran out of NYC maps (2 things I've never experienced at other hostels).

I stayed at this hostel twice in the last few months. Once in Dec 2013 and again in Feb 2013. I really enjoyed my stay hear both times. Great way to meet people, especially when traveling by yourself. The costumer service is great also. There is a young girl that works there called Maggie, she made me feel really welcome...

Very nice hotel, with a great price. Clean and in a great location. Bus stop right out front and the subway stop was a very short walk away. I arrived earlier that planned and it was not a problem. I had a room with two beds and a private bathroom on the third floor right on the corner of Broadway...

I would definitely rate this hostel very good if I considered its price and location. I had to be close to Columbia so Broadway was perfect for that. I genrally dislike having to share a bathroom, but they were clean and easily available. I would sugest people to bring some snacks and not forget to buy some stuff to drink...

After arriving late on the first day, it seemed like our 2 twin rooms had been given away to other guests. We were downgraded to a 4 bed dorm, which wasn't too helpful after a long journey. We were, however, given breakfast free of charge for the rest of our weekend stay. The doors to the two floors that we...

Very simple hotel/hostel. We booked a room with 2 queen beds for 6 days. The room was large but the beds were rock hard (i guess thats just depands on what you are used to). The shared bathroom was ok but not special. Luckely they kept it clean! Location of the hotel is close to the subway. Hotel is great...

Broadway hostel was well placed for us to spend two days in NY. Metro stations are a short walk away and the line gets you to Times square very quickly. The neighbourhood seemed absolutely fine to us. I can't say much about the rooms, it's a hostel, you get a room, that's it. We paid for a dorm, which was...

I am used to staying in hostels, as I have travelled a lot, and since this one calls itself a hostel and hotel, I was even expecting better than a hostel. However it was worse than any hostel I have ever stayed at, and in truth ruined my trip to NY. First of all we arrived at midnight to be...

After a bit of a shaky start with our private room not being available on our first night and having to stay in bunk beds, the staff came through for us and got us into our private room for the rest of the stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room was nice, comfortable bed and a TV. This hotel...
