28th Street, between 6th & 7th is a quiet little gem. It's super quiet at night, because in the early am, the entire street opens to sell flowers for the city. The hotel is new, clean, efficient, and a charming staff makes for a great staying experience!

A hotel is a hotel. But, this hotel is a gem. Being in NYC the room was small and you heard some city noise. But, otherwise, it was perfect. The staff are so nice and friendly. The building next door is under construction, so choose your room wisely. We stayed on the 11th floor. I actually opened the window in... More

The staff was very helpful at check in and with directions. Breakfast was great. The lady at breakfast had a really upbeat, sunny disposition. The hotel room was clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable. The internet access was tricky at first, but we mastered that. All in all a convenient hotel with a great staff.

when we arrived we were a little surprised to see the size of the hotel, it was nothing like the photograph on tripadvisor and is in a pretty scruffy area when we got inside however we were reassured by the helpfulness of the staff and the obvious cleanliness of the hotel. the room was quite adequate for a city hotel... Very good customer service, location is Great for business travelers, only about 3 blocks for the 31st entrance of Penn Station, near Madison Square Garden in the heart of the Flower District. I travel in and out of Penn Station a lot and this hotel is my favorite choice if I can get it for the right price (under 200). It is one of 3 Hiltons within a few blocks of Penn -- (there's another HGI on W.35th St (betw 5th & 6th Ave) and a Hilton "Fashion Center" on W.26th (betw... More

I stayed four nights this week, having arrived on the Amtrak train from Arizona. Many years ago I stayed at the Hotel Pennsylvania, but that place seems scary these days, so the Hilton Garden is just a few blocks walk from Penn Station, and it was quite satisfactory. I guess $215 per night is not a bad rate for midtown... More
