Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

Welcoming hotel in a fantastic location, close to everything you want in NYC.

Reception is nice with very friendly and helpful staff.

The rooms are very spacious when compared to other NY hotels but could do with a bit of modernising.

Restaurant and bar facilities are very lim

An overly spacious suite tempts you to book and an underwhelming staff, room condition and selection of amenities makes you regret it.Avoid this property until it’s gone through a refurbishment and they can heat a room properly.

Every hotel has a few great reviews, and a few bad reviews. This is the first hotel review I've ever done after being a loyal Hilton Diamond guest for over 20 years. The London Hotel is definitely deserving of the accolades I'm giving them.

As a true road warrior traveling a

We stayed there for two nights and the heater was broken. We were freezing during the night of the winter. They have to switch room for us the next day. When I tried to contact the front desk there was no one to pickup the phone. I had to personally go downstairs to get service.

My guestroom was really great. Nice big room, especially for the Midtown location. Also, if you're a fan of good/flowing water pressure, stay here. The 2-headed, large showers are fantastic. Consider this hotel, especially if you have a meeting at the Sheraton or Hilton Midto

Could somebody tell me please what the dress code is for the hotel? I am going to this hotel for New Year’s Eve and I have heard there is a party .. so not sure if that will be a particularly dress code! But I am not aware of one as of yet. I am 20, will I be allowed in the bar at the hotel even if I do not drink ( as the law is you must be 21 ) Thank you
The venue is both a restaurant and bar, so it would be possible to dine and enjoy the party, without ordering alcohol. Not sure of the particular dress code, but this hotel is relatively upscale. In the heart of the theatre district, things will be decideldy upbeat.

Hotel is "SMART" casual. Daytime.....anything you wish to wear from jeans to a suit as long as it is tasteful. Evening, ad a jacket to your jeans or slacks and you will be fine. If it new years eve, and it's NEW YORK DRESS UP young man.....take advantage of being in the city that never sleeps. Go to generation tux online and pick out an awesome outfit and when the night is over send it back! I suggest you NEVER DRINK AND DRIVE. ...in New York never drink and be alone. ... AND on New Years eve I doubt if you have to worry about being carded. BE RESPONSIBLE!

How noisy are the renovations? What is a good suite with views?
I heard no noise during my stay. Ask for a high floor facing north. Check the floor layout in Hilton Honors the day before arriving for best choice of Rooms/suites.

Thinking of staying early January 2019. What is a good floor level away from street noise and are any with views?
Hi. We were on 32nd floor in a suite facing Central Park and could easily see through/past the other buildings, which was all we'd hoped for. Very little noise apart from the occasional police siren, which I suspect everyone in NY can hear.

2 Questions: 1. Does this hotel do a good job of acknowledging Diamond Status? Breakfast, upgrades, etc? 2. As far as coding goes, is this considered a Conrad property? On the Hilton App it’s icon is a C for Conrad. I guess more specifically, does it qualify for the $100 Hilton Honors incidentals credit for Conrad and Waldorf properties?
Hi Matthew. I am not sure about diamond status etc. I am an Amex Centurion card holder and the perks that go with that we’re honoured. The hotel also made sure my stay was allocated to my Asia Miles account. As far as the Conrad/Hilton Honours qualification goes, I think you should check with the hotel, call me lazy but my Centurion account manager has all of my details and ensures all the i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed. Sorry not much help.
