Hotel in 44th street, just near Times Square. Rooms are very clean and nice. Beds are good. Breakfast not included, but next door there's a nice bistro where you can have a fantastic breakfast for 18 $. Just look out for the mini-bar! We didn't...More
We stayed at Hotel Mela for one night to see a show nearby. The hotel is stylish throughout, and the small lobby feels busy and sophisticated. The rooms, while small, are well-organized, so they are actually quite comfortable. The staff is nice, the location is...More
Stayed for a week-end in March. The hotel is in a perfect location for sightseeing and Times Square. The room was New York City sized but spotless, beds were very comfortable and the people at the reception desk were very helpful. Our stay included breakfast...More

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
Strikes me that as WiFi etc is FREE everywhere and people use mobile phones etc this is a unwarranted extra cost.So you believe the hotel price is competitive and then you get conned out of more money. Smeaky !!!
