This Marriott is situated perfect for your NYC stay. It is right across the street from Bryant Park. We were there in early December, so the park is all decked out with craft vendors and an ice skating rink. Just a few blocks from Times Square! The hotel is 1st class! The rooms are updated and large and most have...

This hotel lived up to the good reviews here on Tripadvisor. Clean, nice, and affordable, with an outstanding location: an easy walk to wherever you might want to go in midtown, but on a relatively quiet street. Easily accessible from the bus station (we took the Bolt from Boston). Breakfast was excellent. Our room had a complete kitchenette with stove,...

We had a wonderful stay at the Residence Inn. The staff were attentive and very friendly. Concierge even walked with us to help us find Crumbs Bakery, we requested a late check out and received it! We had a room with a queen size bed and a pull out sofa and a wonderful view of the empire state building!! The...

Overall a good stay! The hotel is overall very nice, with no major problems, but a list of small things to improve. The rooms are generally smaller than other Residence Inn, it is NYC after all, so can't expect giant rooms. The place is well kept and very clean. Although the house keeping staff forgot to clean our room one...

We just came back from a 6 nights stay in Residence Inn @ NYC and it was a positive experience. The location is superb, walking distance -even with the cold cold weather- to Times Square, Rockefeller, Empire State, you name it! The hotel is conveniently located 100 feet or less to subway stations, right next to Bryant Park yet not...

Just a few minutes walk to Times Square. Our room was a good size with a well equipped kitchen although we were supplied with pots and pans but there were no elements to use them. The room was very clean and bed very comfy and we had a view of the top half of the Empire State building. The room...

Perfect location which meant we could walk to everything we wanted to see, Times Sq, Empire State Building (higher than you think it is going to be once you are on the 86th floor), Macy's, Radio City Music Hall (Rockettes Christmas Spectacular was just that), 42nd St, Grand Central Terminal and obviously the shops. Pier 84 for hop-on-hop-off water taxi...

I have wanted to stay at this hotel since it opened about 4-5 years ago. Everything is brand new. The staff was top-notch. We were greeted outside when we got to the hotel and were offered help with our bags. Check in was easy and friendly. Our room was the best! We needed a 2-bedroom suite because I was travelling...

I stayed for four nights (12/12-12/15) and found the hotel clean and quiet. I liked the mini kitchen with refrig, microwave and coffee maker. I brought filters and my own coffee...so coffee was just like home and didn't require roomservice or a dash out to starbucks. Staff was helpful and responsive. Close to subway station and across the street from...

The room was small by Residence Inn standards, good sized by Manhattan standards. But there was only a microwave, no stove. We wen to Eataly and wanted to bring back some pasta and sauce for a dinner, but there was no way to cook the pasta. The front desk said they had a hot plate if you asked for it....

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
