For only 159 USD a night this was good value. Nice friendly helpful folks on front desk, Big comfortable king bed, room size fine for the location and price. The free breakfast and 24 hour coffee and tea is a bonus. Free wifi worked great. I never had problems but some of my compatriots complained about long elevator waits particularly...

My first time in the city, this hotel is very central located in my view. Close to time square (10 min walk). I took the subway and taxis to get around, wasn't hard to get to the closest station or hailing a cab. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast had great hot and cold options. My only negative...

Let me take a moment to apologize for our elevators not moving so swiftly. I am so pleased that you were happy with our location. We look forward to servicing you...

Nice little Hampton inn close to Penn Starion, Madison Square Garden and not to forget Macy's for you shoppers out there. Rooms a bit on the smaller side. Very nice comfortable beds, with fresh sheets and duvet covers, mind you! My room was pretty cold 65f waking up this morning and I was unable to get it warmer. When here...

Stayed here overnight prior to a cruise. Very nice hotel. Location is covenant to subway station. The room is a little small, but it is NYC, so that is to be expected. The front desk staff were very friendly, and an added plus, they spoke English!!! Clean, comfy -- what more can you ask for.

it was a good experience. I would definitely come again. enjoy your time with your spouse and its quiet and relaxing. if you don't have enough money this hotel wasn't a horrible experience at all. didn't like when we first arrived though. I felt like I was in prison when the receptionists didn't allow us through the sliding door. we...

Thank you for your review. There is nothing better than spending time with the family. I am pleased you were able to enjoy your stay. Sorry about the front door, we secure it from midnight to 6am, but a guest room key will grant access as well. Safety, security and comfort is of the utmost importance to us. We hope...

Overall, we loved our stay! I have stayed in NYC before so we didn't have high expectations for the price that we paid. We were pleasantly surprised! The room was about the size that we expected (small) which is standard for NYC. The staff was amazing! They greater us every time we walked in and were very responsive to every...

Stayed here last week and after reading the reviews was confident I'd found a good hotel in a great location.
