We stayed here for three nights using points I accrued staying at other Hyatts. I thought it would be interesting to stay near Times Square but really Times Square is awful - not as seedy as it was 40 years ago but now just mobbed with tourists. Not really much fun. By chance I saw that there is a Hyatt...

The Hyatt Centric Times Square is a perfect choice for anyone wanting to be right on Times Square. It has an excellent location, only a minute’s walk from Times Square. The property itself is fairly new and still feels fresh. All the members of staff we encountered were welcoming and helpful. The rooms were a good size by New York...

Stayed at Hyatt Centric for 8 nights for my husband's 40th Birthday. A great hotel! We stayed in a Deluxe View King room on the 49th floor. Apart from the occasional siren, it was a quiet room with a view of Chrysler Building to the east, World Trade Centre to the South and Hudson River to the West. We used...

Great location. Convenient to everything. Nice hospitality and great food. Very clean and safe as well. Would highly recommend and would stay again. I felt like the staff went out of there way to make sure I had a great stay and managment was extremely accommodating.

What a lovely hotel. Very friendly and in a perfect spot. They couldn't have done more and the rooftop bar was amazing. A bit overpriced for drinks but didn't stop us having fun. They had all the answers. Right next to times square but not noisyet at all .

Amazingly responsive staff. Sparklingly clean rooms. Great view. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a centrally located hotel. For a two night stay, the valet took our car and returned it in perfect condition. I always worry about that. The main beds are fantastic. The pullout wasn't terribly comfortable but overall it wasn't a big deal.

Great rooms, fantastic views if you are high up and really very nice staff. The diner attached to the hotel offers good food (but room service wasn't great) and it's nice to find a super clean hotel in Times Square. The only downside was the elevators....I seemed to spend an eternity waiting to go up or down and for a...

This was our first stay at the Hyatt Centric and it was planned around the shows we planned to see during our stay - Hello Dolly, Anastasia, Sunset Blvd - all a block away from the property. The hotel has a small but functional lobby and a friendly staff. We were upgraded to a Executive Suite during check in and...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
