My stay at this hotel was very pleasant and perfect for my 6 day stay in New York. It was clean, organised and very friendly. Room was comfortable and I slept well. Staff on reception very helpful (Sorry can’t recall the managers name) and Cesar in the restaurant was excellent too. I could not fault this hotel. Thanks for a great experience.
This hotel is in a great location, well run, you are within minutes to walking distance to go many places (each 15-20 minutes) the Brooklyn Bridge, Fulton Fish Market, run/walk allong the waterfront, ship exhibits, Wall St, 9/11 memorial, the ferries to Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island and the waterfront. If you stay for business, AIG, Morgan Stanley and JPMC are a left out the door and 15 minutes down Water St. Several restaurants in under a 5-minute walk. Ramoma at the front desk was great. The entire staff was friendly and professional. The hotel has a morning breakfast (self serve). If this doesn't work for you, the legendary Pearl St Dinner is a 7 minute walk or a juice bar across the street. Parking, the recommended parking (YELLOW not tied part of the Hampton Inn) next door (cross the street). Directly across the street is an ICon (Orange) which is underground but not connected to the Hampton Inn.…
Brilliant hotel, great location. We just spent 8 nights on a family break. The location was perfect, everything walkable including 9/11 memorial and plenty of places to eat. Staff were brilliant, special mention of Ariel the Manager and Cesar who made the breakfast, both were very helpful and lovely throughout our stay. Highly recommend.
Location - you can walk to to many places and subways from here especially if you are shopping and sightseeing. 10 mins from 9/11 Memorial, 2 mins from South Street Seaport. Lots of excellent take away food places nearby and supermarkets too.
The Hampton by Hilton keep insisting I review the experience of my stay at the hotel so here goes. I was simply going to ignore the email requests as I would rather simply forget about it all as caused me so much upset at the time. On booking the hotel they decided to significantly overcharge my credit card which took me numerous emails going back and forth with them over a 2 month period to resolve. On arrival we were greeted by a very unwelcoming member of staff at reception on the night shift. Extremely rude and unhelpful. The 2 rooms we received were something from the 1980's. The air conditioning in the room was dire and noisy to say the least. The room was very shabby. The breakfast which was included was practically non existent. So glad the next Hilton hotel we went to was absolutely awesome in New York.…
Phenomenal staff + great location = a wonderful experience. This boutique hotel is within walking distance of many tourist attractions and subway stations. Kudos to Hampton Inn staff for providing top-notch customer service!
We want to share our experience regarding our stay in the Hampton Inn, Seaport in Manhattan, NYC, NY; we stayed in this hotel the weekend of January 28 through January 29. Since the moment we walked in, the staff was not only hospitable, but also friendly, kind and very helpful. The Manager, Ariel Alba and staff member Santa welcomed us and in addition to checking us in, they answered all our questions about the hotel and the area. It was our first time staying in the financial district, but they gave us all kinds of are information and suggestions for eating and the best ways to get to the places we needed to go. You will always see Ariel working the front desk, in the office or mopping to make sure the floor is always clean. Then, we also met Fran which she worked the front desk. She was so nice and end up being a performer and giving advice to my daughter for her auditions. When we arrived to the room, we looked around, especially the bathroom, and it was cleaner that we were expecting. We have been to many Hilton family hotels; from Double Tree to Embassy Suites to Homewood, and I can honestly say this has been the cleanest. This to include the elevator, the breakfast area, the lobby and hallways. During our stay we witnessed the cleaning of the lobby numerous times per day; they really take pride in their work and the hotel clearly shows this. During breakfast, the staff was always attentive and helpful. The food was fresh, well presented and all countertops and tables were clean and always clear of trash which created a welcoming and trusting environment. I mentioned trusting in reference to our current status in regards to Covid; at no time I felt at risk due to seeing them keep everything so clean and tidy. When it came time to check out, we had a similar pleasant experience. Furthermore, I was trying to schedule an Uber and the cost was very steep and although we were expecting this, Ariel assisted us with scheduling a limo service saving us over $20 USD. We can say it’s been one of the best experiences, if not the best we had in a hotel. They definitely have a great team! We are truly glad we found this Hampton Inn and hands-down recommend it to anyone looking for a very good and clean. We have definitely found our favorite hotel and look forward to visiting NYC and staying there. We had such a good time with everyone; it was a pleasure staying there. Again, thank you to Ariel, Fran & Santa for making this our favorite trip and Hotel stay.…
I was in the NYC area for business. Found this hotel and the location and price is great. Hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious for NYC rooms. The staff is very accommodating. The area is safe with a strong police presence, city hall, police 1 and the federal reserve are in the area. Views are great with the freedom tower and the Brooklyn bridge. Plus south seaport is around the corner. Close to subway lines and Chinatown and little Italy.
Definitely, a home away from home. Great staff. Always professional and willing to go the extra mile. This hotel is always my first choice when going to NY. It’s very clean and the food is amazing. Definitely recommend!
Service poor, room has no refrigerator or microwave. You are told room will be inspected after you leave and any damages will be deducted from your credit card. However, a room check was not provide before you access the room. I had to take pictures when enter the room and leaving as proof of the room conditions when I arrived and depart. This is a damn Joke!!!!
