The staff was exceptionally helpful to us. Great location, about a ten minute walk to Penn Station. The hallways are a bit cramped feeling and the elevators were slow, but other than that, no complaints. We had a great stay and would definitely return!

I stayed here a few nights for business as my company's NYC HQ was just a block away. I usually stay at Hilton brand hotels and this is the first Hampton Inn I've stayed at. The pros: friendly service, free breakfast, nice looking lobby, nice rooms with solid furniture and fixtures, comfortable bed, comfy pillows, temperature control that worked and... More

Four ladies for a 60th birthday celebration. We loved this hotel, and would definitely stay there again. The hotel was very clean and super quiet. The staff was wonderful. They let us check in early because they had a room available at noon, and we just got off a bus from Virginia, and were saturated due to heavy rains. Our... More

We spent a week at this hotel and were very satisfied with our stay. The location was central if there are sights you want to see uptown AND downtown (took about 10 min to walk to Times Square). Having breakfast included (and warm cookies put out each night) was a nice bonus and helped offset the "sticker shock" of paying... More

Free WiFi, in-room safe, bedspread (duvet cover) clean for every new guest, clean room, decent size to the room. I would stay there again, as it's good value for the price. Easy walks to Union Square, Chelsea Market, the High Line, and other downtown areas. My only complaint was that it has two small elevators and apparently no service elevator... More

We stayed on 23/24 May. This hotel should have rated 5 stars but badly let down by the poor cleaning. The room had a strong odour of urine which corresponded with a wet patch in the corner. The front desk staff didn't seem too concerned and had to be asked three times to do something about it, finally the head... More

I don't normal post reviews but on this occasion wanted to highlight the services provided by this hotel. Everything a traveller could require is provided, I especially liked the added touch of the in room safe. Breakfast was excellent and the room very tidy. The experience was only spoilt by the lack of response by management to emails I sent... More

Great hotel, very clean. Would highly recommend this location. We arrived to the city early, our room was not yet available, but they offered to store our bags for the day so we could go about our site seeing. Complimentary breakfast was very convenient.

Went back a second time to Hampton Inn Chelsea. It was a bit more crowded this time. I still would recommend this hotel, but the breakfast area was always packed with people and hard to move around the island of food. It didn't help that their air conditioner was broken in the lobby. Not their fault. Late afternoon they bring... More
