Surprisingly our room was clean. No AC but we had a fan in our room. We did get a room with a private bathroom so... More

Please get rid of the TVs: if you don't have acustics to avoid people annoying each other, please don't offer TV service... I've been there all week until yesterday and I had a hard time sleeping... And guests out there: you can be on a budget but that doesn't give you the right to watch tv at a very loud... More

As a desperately poor 19 year old suddenly stranded in NYC, I was beyond grateful to find somewhere with rooms still available at 9pm. All I wanted was a bed in a room with a door with a lock and that is what they gave me. However, the bed sheets were covered in actual BLOOD STAINS. There was a HOLE... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
