Stylish boutique hotel in Chelsea, NYC. Classy and cleverly decorated rooms and spaces, good bar, library/bar/rea room and restaurant. The service was very good and the people at the reception very helpful. Very enjoybale stay overall.

I totally spaced on writing a review for this adorable boutique hotel. Loved the boho chic eclectic furnishings. Cozy well appointed bathroom. Small rooms but well laid out and we had a long corridor to a step down bedroom. Well located near Washington square park and the flatiron district. Small lobby. Must spend some time sipping coffee in the library...

I only stayed at this hotel for one night but it was a night to remember. I passed by this hotel many times and thought will have nothing special or just other NYC hotel with Small Rooms and Rude Service. But when i entered the hotel, i was amazed. Lush ambiance, staff was amazingly friendly. I stayed at a suite...

Top notch, sexy and fun hotel with amazing service, great location and beautiful decor. I planned a surprise Anniversary getaway here with my husband and the staff worked with me to make this experience something we will never forget. Can't thank Jonathan enough for all his help in making sure our room was set up perfectly and everyone we encountered...

We recently stayed a single night the weekend of the NYC Marathon and loved it! We were also celebrating my birthday and our children had arranged the reservations and made note of that. We were delighted with the look and feel of the hotel and our room specifically. The intricate and dark wood details contrasted beautifully with the white walls....

The Nomad Hotel has nicely appointed and quiet rooms above the boisterous and crowded Nomad Restaurant. The good news is that the food is excellent (if expensive) but the bad news is that the restaurant's over-flowing and stylish crowd detracts from any sense of "home" you might want from a hotel. By all means do not go down for breakfast...

The location was "so so" few years ago, but it is good now. You can find nice restaurants and bars around the hotel. The hotel itself is nice but quit dark. We prefer more day light. Rooms are big, nice with wooden floor and good bed. The breakfast is a la carte, but extremely slow. The best choice is the...

there is always a story. We normally stay on the upper east side as this is close to the various business and social stuff we normally do. but my daughter lives in Brooklyn and she lobbied hard for us to stay further south. so we tried the NoMad which was close to various subway lines, on the corner of Broadway...

When I saw the hotel name, I expected another overhyped "luxury hipster" boutique hotel. The NoMad teeters on the edge of being too cool for its own good but the amazingly friendly staff save it from falling into pretentiousness. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay

The NoMad Hotel is housed in a turn of the century Beaux-Arts building that has been fully restored to its original grandeur with interiors by French designer Jacques Garcia. The hotel is intended as a fresh take on the classic grand hotels of Europe with a distinct New York sensibility. The design of the hotel was inspired by the Parisian flat of Garcia’s youth. The 168 rooms are residential in feel and decorated in his classic, timeless style. Each room is appointed with hand-selected, richly textured custom-designed furnishings and original artwork. The soaring ceilings throughout the public spaces provide a fine gathering place to enjoy dining, drinking and socializing. ... more   less
