We spent a week here to explore Manhattan and found that the superior room we booked as part of a flight/hotel deal was more than adequate. Friendly, accomodating staff and very well placed on the edge of Central Park. Very happy and will look to return.

There are caveats related to this review. I was one person, 6 foot 2, with only a carry-on bag and I needed to be near Lincoln Center and I got a deal on Priceline. I had a Standard Queen Room, and that describes the bed and pretty much the size of the room. It is small, but I've stayed in...

The majority of reviews we read prior to booking the hotel commented on the small rooms & noise. We therefore expected a small room and while the room wasn't exactly spacious it was clean, had nice decor and everything we required. Can honestly say I wasn't bothered by noise at any point. This is a fantastic hotel we were impressed...

Just for the room and facility of the hotel itself, 2 stars (poor). Add the price and service, 1 to 2 stars (terrible to poor). Let's start with the room. For a 2 double bed room, there was just about enough room put in the 2 beds. That's it. There was just enough space to put our two pieces of...

The location of the hotel is very good just 10 minutes walk to the 5th... It's a clean hotel and a vert nice staff over there. The only thing is a very small room without a normal place to open a big case or to put thing outside of it. It's a 24 floor hotel and sometime there were noises...

Extremely small rooms...around 100 sq ft. If you don't get a suite or higher do not stay here. The lobby area and penthouse are beautiful, but the rest of the hotel is a joke. No Room Service and Staff is at odds with mgmt.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

“- if possible avoid rooms overlooking the street, no sound isolation, hence you feel like sleeping in the street. nothing of any interest to view from the rooms anyway... - people say rooms are small: true compared to NY average hotel rooms, but who cares if you have enough square feet to store your luggage, a good bed and bathroom, all clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. there is so much to see in NY that i prefer spending less time in my room as long i can sleep comfortably for a few hours”
