Wow, I have never stayed in such a tiny room....it is uncomfortably small with a 'peek a boo' full length glass wall between the sleep area and and shower and loo....bathroom is so small it has a sliding door. The room is wood panelled and so I felt like I was in a coffin lol!!! Seriously, there is NO experience...

I used priceline and got a good deal to stay at the Hudson Hotel for a few nights during the week. Wasn't sure what to expect when staying here due to the mixed reviews. My experience was positive - as others mention it's not crystal clear where the hotel is when standing outside but it's near the Europan on the...

Other reviews on this site made me rather apprehensive about staying at this hotel. I don't know whether my opinion was affected by my admittedly rather low expectations, but I found I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The location is good, a stones throw from Columbus Circle and the point where mid town starts turning into the upper west side....

I go to New York several times a year and always stay at the Hudson which has been my first choice for a hotel for over 12 years. The overall hotel design is unmatched by any other boutique hotel in New York. The location is fantastic - close to Columbus Circle and Central Park. You can easily get anywhere in...

This is a very chic & trendy boutique hotel. Very unique and pretty lobby area. It's nice in New York to have outdoor garden areas to relax in. They also have a rooftop terrace. I just wish that the rooftop terrace served food. It's not an option and I feel it is something that they could accomplish and it would...

I love this place! Fab location just around the corner from Central Park. The rooms are not the biggest but let's face it you are only sleeping there! They are comfortable and clean, the baths are a little small but it's not a huge problem. Lovely sky top terrace bars with great views, staff were very accommodating. Would not hesitate...

This hotel is in a really good location for a lot of tourist activities and is convenient to the subway as well. The room and bathroom are certainly small, but most rooms in NYC, especially Midtown, are not much bigger and plenty are even smaller. The interior of the hallways are dreary, like how I would imagine the inside of...

First time staying in this hotel. The lobby is very impressive that leads out to a beautiful patio area. It was a Saturday and they only had 2 people working the front desk. It was busy. This used to be a favourite of mine, but unfortunately the owners have obviously decided they make more money from selling cocktails to 25 to 35yo's. The rooms have always been extremely small and pokey, but this has, in the past been compensated by some exceptional areas on the Reception level where guests could meet and work. This is no...

This was my second time at the Hudson hotel. Of my first stay, I could remember two things: Amazing rooftop bar and very small room. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
