The Dylan Hotel in Manhattan unites tradition and modernity exquisitely and with a contemporary elegance that captivates our guests. The building is very emblematic, first having been the residence of the Welsh writer, Dylan Thomas, and later the headquarters of the New York Pharmacists Club. The Dylan Hotel combines the classical lounges and guest rooms of the period with ambiances and areas in contemporary design. We are a non-stop hotel, because the Big Apple never stops. For this reason, the gym and the business center are open 24 hours a day. Additionally, we do not charge a facilities fee.

My stay at the Dylan Hotel could not have been more perfect. Jose and Kevin were absolutely awesome at Check In. As a matter of fact, the whole staff was incredibly professional, kind, and helpful. Bryan, Andy, Rahmon, and Allyson were all so good at their job. The location is

The Dylan almost gets it right. The location is terrific, just off Madison Avenue. It's in the old Chemists' Club though they've updated it considerably. My room was a decent size by NYC standards and the quotes on the hallway walls are a nice touch. Some of the furnishings,

Can’t beat the location. Can’t speak to the refurbishment as it was done after my stay. My caution is that the small rooms are REALLY small. Like six inches between the bed and the wall on both sides. If you can a room like the other respondent you should be fine. I also found the staff to be unfriendly and unhelpful but hopefully that has changed too. Good luck.

I found the hotel quite adequate. Clean, small rooms, nice amenities. Coffee maker, frig with a few nonalcoholic beverages. I had trouble with enough outlets as my room was older. Nice bathroom. No peeling paint, heat worked fine. Staff very nice. Breakfast nice but not cheap. This is a solid 3. See my review.

I ordered off the menu, It was delightful. I asked for fruit instead of meat with my eggs. Waiter brought me a smashing plate of fresh fruit. About the same price as buffet $17.00 -$20.00. Waiters are really nice and very attentive! (Fabulous place for dinner.) Buffet looked nice with a few hot items. I am just not a buffet person. Nice place for breakfast. Of course there are cheaper options on the outside.
