Good location near Times Square and comfy bed but that's it. Very old and dated decor the carpets are filthy. The first room we were put in had toe nails on the floor, mould in the bathroom and holes in the bedding. We complained and got a bigger room with a bigger bed was better than the first. Some staff...

It was comfortable, when I stayed in this hotel again . But: when I checked in in the hotel, I asked the manager (Asian women) on reception about quiet room on the high floor. I planned to stay there one week. After that, I saw that my request was ignored with smile. As a result, I had old room on...

Furniture is old and broken, as are lamps, carpets are run down, dirty etc. Would not bathe there without flip flops!! I would not stay...

A complete dump, nearly spoilt my trip to NY, unfortunately we got moved from the lovely Hotel Beacon, I couldn't believe my eyes when I got there, cracked tiles, very dirty, old fashioned furniture, we didn't want to touch anything. Complained to the manager of the place, told him it was a dump, he upgraded us to another room, but...

The location of the hotel is excellent which was the basis for my choice. The price seemed basic since I paid months in advance. I arrived in the pouring rain. I found the receptionist without personality. I had a reservation and gave her my name. She would not move until I presented an ID. An extra $100 dollars was pending...

The room was tiny. The closet would not open all the way because of the bed. The faucet water was cold. Charged additional tax at check out. You have to pay for them to store your bags after you check out.

we'd booked 2 rooms they only had us down as staying in one, said they were full but if we paid for another room they would look at it the following day. - despite having two seperate booking vouchers. The manager wouldn't come out to discuss and eventually the unhelpful staff member relented after 2 hours of arguing and gave...

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
