I had an event very close to this hotel on a Friday night. I came from long island so taking the LIRR into Penn station was the only way to go since the hotel is right across the street from the hotel. The weather was...More

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. I am delighted to know that you enjoyed your stay at the New York Hotel Pennsylvania. We look forward to your next visit. Thank you for your business.
My kids dubbed this the Tower of Terror hotel. Lobby is lovely and even the elevators - all felt promising. Right off the elevators on our floor, our mood changed when we entered a dark and dingey corridor. The room smelled ok, which was a...More
I have stayed in crappy hotels occasionally over my years. I travel a lot for business and for pleasure. This hotel was by far the worst experience I've had in A hotel. It took 2 1/2 hours to check in in the lobby. The atmosphere...More
We stayed in this hotel during Christmas break. Reached NYC late in the evening after a long flight and thought of relaxing in the hotel on arrival. Upon reaching the 11th Floor we were on, we were shocked to see the state of the hotel....More
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York
City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.

The tour bus explorer that travels around the city is a gfreat option but I believe that when you get there you negotiate with a person for the best deal and it will give you options for visitng most of the sites. I personally dont ahve experience of other options but I think if you negotiate a good deal with one of these guys you will be happy (just my experience) eg I booked a tour around 2 parts of the city and paid 29.95 but I only used one part of the tour night and day but I found it was a good thing to do to get your bearing of what is in NYork and the bus stopped at most places and you need to book online for the Statue of Liberty tour but I cant really say anything else Hope this is of some use
