So many nice things to say about the Roxy . First Sami , the food and beverage manager . He was such a generous and caring man . Once he found out it was my 25th wedding anniversary , he bought us champagne on the house . He did this twice . He asked if we would be joining them...

I can't say enough good things about Ruddy (Ruddy Was Here) and his street art walking tour. Ruddy had me seeing things I'd completely missed in my wanderings. I'm grateful for his discerning eye and appreciation for everyday art in unexpected places. I usually loathe group tours but Ruddy's didn't feel at all like a tour. Just a bunch of...

My favorite hotels are unique and have a sense of place. The Roxy is such a hotel. It's In Tribeca, near subway, and easy accessibility to getting in or out of town from airports. Just stayed one night but it's probably going be be one of my favorite NY hotels. Not super deluxe but 3-4 star with nice touches,, like...

Excellent reception and booking in; very friendly and helpful staff. Nice central open atrium and open plan bar area with windowed off cocktail bar. Rooms were a really decent size for NYC and really nicely done. Location is superb for me being in between Tribeca and SoHo so excellent to get anywhere but especially good for bars and food. Will/would...

My daughter and I stayed here for mothers day weekend. We wanted to be in the SOHO downtown area and this has great access to the A,C,E subway line, as well as walking distance to many shops & restaurants. I researched a lot of places and put about 5 on hold before I finally choses his one. I'm glad we...

I felt like real New Yorker staying in a neighborhood instead of a hotel off Time Square or Central Park. Loved the movie theatre down stairs and the live music. Friendly staff. Nostalgic atmosphere. short walk to pharmacy, food and juice bar.

I was lucky to be treated to a stay at this hotel by my mum who has previously stayed in NYC. This is a 5* hotel and I love the 1920's theme throughout. The attention to detail brings this hotel to life along with its great staff. Unfortunately at the start of our stay the concierge had days off but...

I booked the Roxy Hotel to host a Tribeca Film Festival post-screening reception in the lobby. When I looked at the venue, I told Diona, their amazing sales manager, that I needed a space that was turnkey and buttoned up since I wouldn't have too much time to plan the event. We ended up booking our staff/talent room block through...

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
