I have stayed here a few times and love this hotel. It's private, quiet and in a perfect location. Manish at the front desk is extremely helpful. Will always defer to here for my Manhattan stays. Always recommend to friends and family.
I stay in NYC a lot. My first time at The Draper. Tiny rooms, even by NYC standards. Not thoughtfully outfitted. For example, not a single hook, rod or shelf in the bathroom. Fridge in the tiny room was really noisy, I had to turn it off. Shades had to remain down on full length window since view was directly into another occupied building just feet away. Seemed clean. Bed is okay. And shower fine. Location is good. Being close to 5th means you've got to walk a few blocks for any quick services, snacks, bodegas. It's a small hotel, so you can hear the hallway and elevator from even the furthest room. Not well insulated. It was busy, and very noisy. Some hours the elevator would ding and open multiple times a minute (not normal). People in the hallway woke me up 2am, 3am, 4am. Glad I was here for just one night. For the price, you can do way better in this town. Unsure why it's ranked so high here. …
Okay, we knew hotel rooms in NYC would be smaller and pricier but oops - we definitely should have gotten two rooms. Family of four including 2 teenage boys - we were all over each other. BUT - still loved it! Wish I had taken a photo of the bathroom. Really nice shower - LOVED the shower head and tile and lighting. Just lovely. Room was very nicely put together. EVERY single person we came in contact with working at the Hotel was lovely. Very nice people. I only give it 4 out of 5 because the storage was rough - even for 2 people it would have been tricky. No closet and the clothes hanging bar thing above the coffee station was better than nothing BUT could have been better if the bar extended out on each side providing more places to hang clothing. Along those lines, MORE hooks all over the room would be helpful to make up for no place to hang anything. We found the drawers under the bed on the last day.- we hadn't seen them because our luggage on the floor was blocking them and we couldn't even walk around the room :p Same notes for the bathroom - lovely fixtures and lighting BUT need more shelves and hooks. Regardless - I recommend! I'll just be sure to tell people no more than 2 people per room.…
Small but well curated and tastefully furniture and trims. Staff is friendly especially Pathik. No issues, had a good stay. Easy to connect chromecast on TV and comfortable bed and work area. Will be good to have room service:
This is where you want to stay in NYC. We stayed for 5 nights 6/9-6/14. First: the location is perfect. Easy walk to Times Square and easier walk to the subway. Next: the staff is amazing. So very helpful, kind and welcoming. If you’ve ever stayed in NYC you’ll know that waiting for the hotel elevators can be painful. Not here. Never had to wait more than 90sec for the elevator. Cafe in lobby isn’t open right now, but walk down 37th to 6th and grab coffee/pastries at Paris Baguette. Room is cute and immaculate. Bed is super comfy. Stay on higher floors at back of building. You’ll have an amazing view of the Empire State Building. Everything is very clean. And again, can’t say enough about how helpful and kind all of the staff were. Having stayed other places before, this will 100% be our place when we come back. Perfect is a hard goal, but this hotel achieved perfection for many reasons. We can’t wait to come back!…
This hotel was very clean, modern, quiet and very convenient. The rooms are small, but big enough for two people and space is functionally designed. Beds and linens weee comfortable. Staff were friendly and attentive. We stayed for two nights and were able to walk to several spots nearby. Great choice! We loved it!
I've stayed at the Drapwr Hotel multiple times and it was ALWAYS been wonderful. Besides being conveniently located in Midtown Manhattan, the rooms are super clean, but most importantly the service is exquisite. Pathitk deserves special recognition as he has always made me feel at home. I highly recommend it.
My room at The Draper was small, but truly had everything I needed - first and foremost, a VERY comfortable bed! A small refrigerator and coffeemaker ensured that I had that first cup of coffee to start the day, and that cold water when I wanted it. The hotel is in a good location to be able to walk to lots of "touristy" things (Broadway shows, Macys, restaurants, shopping) and yet each night I fell into a deep sleep because my room was quiet and cozy. The staff is wonderful; helpful, problem-solving when needed, warm, and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
I stayed in The Draper hotel for 2 nights with my family and I can't express enough that it was the best decision. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Manhattan from where you can walk to all the main NYC attractions. The hotel staff were really helpful, courteous and looked after us in every possible way throughout our stay. Can't recommend this hotel more. We will definitely be visiting this hotel soon. There was this staff, in particular, I believe that his name was Max. Excellent gentleman He went above and beyond to make sure that my family and I were provided with great service. :)
It was perfect. It had everything you needed to stay and see an Explorer NYC it was centrally located comfortable comfortable clean accommodations. Would definitely recommend and stay again. They want me to keep adding more characters so I am trying to submit this review
