I read all the reviews before booking this apartment, and all of them are correct. The negative first:
1) It was really warm during my trip and the air did not work so great. It was not hot, but the room was a tad uncomfortable....More

Perfect! Front desk attendants Billy and Shirley were most helpful. The location was great and the room was great; nice kitchenette, rollaway bed was comfortable ( which usually isn't in other hotels. I highly recommend this reasonably priced hotel!

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Does anyone take travelers cheques these days and why would you want to use them in a place like New York when it is cheaper to take cash out of the hole in the wall?? I can understand carrying cheques when visiting the third world but not in the US. The hotel has a cash machine in the lobby, use a card - cheaper and safer.
