Super cool, hip hotel. Fabulous position. Great staff at the front desk, great rooms, great roof terrace. A really special place to stay. Only downside is the cafe which is very unorganised, run by disinterested staff and a very poor reflection of the Nolitan. My advice would be to walk across the street to the butchers daughter (recommendation of the...

The Nolitan Hotel must be one of the hippest places to stay in New York City. My partner and I were looking for something pretty central with enough to keep us occupied indoors if the weather got bad. The Nolitan might be small but it is just a sensational place to stay, and it ticked all the boxes for us....

Nolita is a great neighborhood and this classy, stylish boutique hotel is right in the heart of everything. Trendy shops and restaurants, Little Italy, Soho, and subway stops are all within a few minutes walk - which is perfect on a freezing January day! Very helpful and friendly front desk. Don't miss their restaurant - Cantine Parisienne. We had a...

Summary: There are a lot of enthusiastic reviews posted here. Just be advised that there are some differences with this property that you might want to know about ahead of time. This is a good hotel. Not great, not bad. You must know that the rooms are very small, and the HVAC system is loud (fan noise). On the plus...

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. I was delighted to learn that you had a great experience with the Guest Services team and were able to take advantage of the our great location. I was, however, disappointed that you found the HVAC noise to be disruptive. We recognize that this is a concern in certain rooms...

From the moment we checked in our stay was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful, the decor was warm yet stylish and the location was perfect - close to the subway and an easy walk to shopping, restaurants etc. I've worked in the hospitality industry for years so it's hard to impress me, and the staff truly did just...

I've stayed here twice, both on business and leisure and it is a terrific hotel with the high standard of service and attention to detail that you would expect from a boutique hotel in Manhattan. It's clean, stylish and the staff are super. One thing I would advise is to try to secure a room on the Elizabeth St side...

We stayed at The Nolitan for one night. I'm a big fun of design hotels, and this one did not let me down. The hotel design is beautiful and modern and rooms (although quite small) are nicely furnished. Unfortunately we didn't have the chance to spend a lot of time in the hotel, but we got the chance to benefit...

We've stayed here twice during the US Open. This is a hip new hotel in the Nolita area. The staff are super friendly and seem to really like working here. The lobby is cool with plenty of places to sit and read the paper while snacking on their assortment of popcorn. The rooms are clean and modern with nice appliances,...

Staying in Nolita

Neighbourhood Profile
Nolita
Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for “North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighbourhood is popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry, Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping, there are cozy restaurants and sidewalk cafes serving everything from new-school Italian food to the world-famous cronuts. While small in size (Nolita stretches just a few blocks in each direction), it’s a great neighbourhood to spend an afternoon people watching, window-shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat.
