I stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is nice and the location is really nice but overall it was below what I expected from Intercontinental. I would say the cleanness of the hotel is not that good and the service is not that good as well. They have a real issue of late check in (4 P.M) and very... More

This was a surprise birthday trip and our first time in NYC. My husband chose the InterContinental hotel due to its central location in Times Square. We had a high floor room which provided excellent views and reduced any noise that may have come from the hustle and bustle of Times Square. We didn't eat in the hotel having read... More

I travel to NY every year and always stay in a different hotel. This is easily the nicest hotel I have stayed in. It's very clean and modern. Beautifully decorated, with a homely comfortable feeling. The room service is delicious, especially the breakfast. The bathroom was the best thing about the room with a walk in shower. The room also... More

We booked plays p, 6 of them over the course of 4 days. Everything was within 2 or 3 blocks. Two Queen sized beds for 2 people at a great rate. A large room too, as far as New York rooms go. A very friendly staff.

I stay in Manhattan every few months and prefer this hotel, although it is at the upper end of my budget. The views of the city are often very good. It sits on top of a very large and well connected subway station. I have not found a single place to eat I like anywhere near this hotel so I... More

We had a sky-view room which gave great views over the city. The room was large with the kingsize bed that was so comfortable it was unreal. Absolutely no problem sleeping at all despite the occasional police sirens! We did not eat in the hotel but had a drink in the bar which was no more expensive than local bars.... More

I stayed here for one night while on business. I've stayed in several other Intercons and this one certainly is worthy of the brand. The service was impeccable, the room was spotless and extremely comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was top notch (really enjoyed the smoked salmon). Definitely will return!

Our family stayed here before, but like to try other hotels in the city for different experiences. We came back to the InterContinental because of the location, service, and rooms. The staff is friendly, and the hotel is bigger than a "boutique" hotel but smaller than a huge hotel where you get lost in the crowd. Just the right size... More

For an intercontinental I was disappointed. The wifi constantly dropped. And the second night the sheets smelled so strongly of detergent or fabric softener I actually had to get up and change beds in the middle of the night, fortunately I had 2 doubles and the other bed sheets didn't reek of flowers. Also the hotel didn't have complimentary bottled... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
