Room is comfortable but dated. Added "city tax" ($19 per night!) was excessive, be sure to take it into account in the price when you book. Apparently it is for breakfast, cleaning and the 'complimentary water' in the room each day. This should really be included in the price when you book as being stung with an additional fee at...

We stayed there for a few nights in September and the stay was pretty enjoyable. If you are comfortable taking the subway it is a short walk to a station, but otherwise if the weather is fine and you need a bit of exercise after the long flight, you can walk to most places easily. The room was quite small...

I stayed one night on business and it was very nice, had everything I needed including great wifi and it was super clean! The band on Thursday night was fabulous and the breakfast was also nice - simple but did the trick. The staff makes this place, super friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back.

Nice room, cleen, new towels every day, more then continental breakfast if you are at the right time. The windows are not duoble galzied so it is noisy during the night because of works in neighbouring building.

This hotel is in the flatiron district of Manhattan. Its pretty close to most, either a walk or subway ride away. The rooms are on teh small side compared to some other Manhattan hotels. The real gem of the hotel is the night life. Toshi's on the lower lover has amazing eclectic music that goes late into the night. WE...

I travel a lot for work and pleasure. I've stayed in a lot of hotels. I'm not terribly picking as long as I feel safe, the staff is nice, and the room is clean. The staff at this hotel were super nice and friendly. I called the day before my arrival and asked for an early check in, and they...

My college girlfriends and I get together every few years in NY for a good time. We are all different personalities and backgrounds so finding a place that makes us all happy is a challenge. Flatiron filled the bill! Clean, large room, great location, and incredibly affordable, we ALL had a wonderful experience! The hotel staff was friendly and wonderful,...

The location of this property can't be beat no matter what you're in the city to do and the price is reasonable given this. There are definitely some shortcomings. While the rooms are tasteful, there are quite a few "gadgets" in them that would be cool if only they worked (TV in the mirror, mechanized curtains, multi-headed shower...) However, when...

We stayed for two nights and were very surprised that this is a four star hotel. The rooms and hotel are tired and in desperate need of renovation/cleaning. The carpet in the rooms is really worn and dirty as an example. Also, the duvets aren't even in duvet covers just sat between two sheets adding to the sense of shabbiness....
