My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in May 2012 and were very impressed. We have traveled all over the world and stayed in 3 star B&Bs in Europe to 5 star resorts in the Caribbean and China and we thought this was terrific. Situated 5 min from the 125th St Station in Harlem, you could be at many...

We stayed in La Sienna for a week at the start of June. We had a room on the top floor and had a shared bathroom and kitchen. The room was sweet and decorated with pictures on the wall and the bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean and the soap in the toilet smelt lush! The kitchen is stocked...

La Sienna is a brownstone over 100 years old with lots of character. We had a charming, immaculately clean room overlooking the back garden, with a fully equipped kitchen. Located in the centre of Harlem, 5 mins walk from various subways and buses, downtown and major sights were only about 15 mins away. Very safe with interesting places around, including...

I stayed at La Sienna for 9 Nights and found it a great place to stay. It's basic but clean, comfortable and safe. Manny and Yvette were lovely people and i felt perfectly safe in Harlem. Travelling to lower Manhattan was easy from the subway on 125th St. For the price it's great value and would reccommend anyone on a...

We were in NYC for valentines day and I booked this little guest house. We booked a ensuite and I was surprised we also got a private kitchen (stocked with everything you need also). It was almost like having an apartment - lovely decorations make it feel like a home. Everything was clean - the bed comfortable. The wifi worked...

I stayed at la Sienna for a total of 15 nights during August and September and I enjoyed every moment of it. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable and the perfect place to come back to after a hectic day in the city. The shared kitchen and bathrooms were also kept immaculate. It’s very close to restaurants and subway...

Stayed at La Sienna for 6 nights during september. The hotel, located in Harlem, is 1 minute from the nearest subway - it took 10/15 mins max to Times Square. The rooms are basic (toliets and showers located down the hallway) but there is a full kitchen to use and the free wifi is handy. It Is great value for...

I couldn't believe my eyes when I read the last review because it is not reflecting the truth. First of all,Manny and her niece(unfortunately I forgot to ask her name)are among the best people that I've ever known.Manny,as far as I could see, just has principles(and that's normal) and warns those who will stay there about them beforehand and time...

I stayed their 4 times during last 1.5 years for my CPA exams and really love to always to go back. The location is very good and the price is really wise as most of my friend who traveled with me paid tripled price. The owner deals with you as friend not guest and they are very friendly. The area...
