My partner and I stayed at the Artezen for 4 nights in early January 2023. The rooms and bathrooms are modern, clean and comfortable. A/C available in the rooms, we had a very large shower, and bedside lamps even had USB ports for charging devices. A clothes steamer was also provided which was very useful for a quick fix on creased clothes out of our cases! All staff were extremely friendly and the concierge (Carmelo) was very helpful and knowledgeable, especially in advising the best option to get to JFK for our departure. The location of this hotel is what really makes this a stand out hotel for me (this was my third time in NYC). I found it very easy to get around, regardless of where we went. Subway stations are seconds away from the hotel and several key tourist attractions are nearby, as follows: - 5 minute walk to 9/11 memorial. - 5 minute walk to Wall Street (Stock Exchange etc). - 7 minute walk to Brooklyn Bridge. - 10 minute walk to Wall St. NY Ferry to get to Brooklyn/DUMBO (I recommend doing this instead of walking all the way over Brooklyn Bridge then back, tickets were about $4). - 15 minute walk to The Battery for ferries to Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island etc. There are plenty of restaurants/pubs/bars in the surrounding area. A few of my personal recommendations: - Healthy Green Juice Bar (breakfast smoothies/acai bowls etc) 30 second walk. - Kesté Pizza (offer full gluten free menu) 5 minute walk. - Overstory cocktail bar (64th floor 360° views of NYC skyline, incredible for seeing Brooklyn Bridge at night) 5 minute walk. One final, huge, positive of this hotel, the location is also very quiet! I cannot recall being able to hear any traffic or sirens of emergency vehicles. Both myself and my partner slept very well. I really could not overstate how highly I would recommend this hotel!…
What makes this hotel stand out amongst the dearth of hotels in Manhattan? 2 things stand out, excellent customer service and the hotel location which makes it easy to use the subway to go across Manhattan and Brooklyn too. The customer service was top notch wherein all our questions and needs were addressed appropriately and in a timely manner. Daniel at the front desk/concierge was a delight to interact with. Housekeeping and room services was also very good and no complaints there. Location wise.... NYSE, Wall street, World Trade Center and 9/11 memorial and all of lower Manhattan/Lower Financial district is all within walking distance from the hotel. Subway lines 4,5,6, J, A, C etc. are easily accessible from the hotel via the nearby subway stations. Room size? decent room size as per NY standards.…
I have to commend this hotel, they made our stay in New York City a very memorable one. The staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to guide us every day. Carbello, Daniel and all at the front door (sorry if I forgot your name or missed spelled them) are the most amazing people we met. Every morning they would great us with a smile and ask what our plans were and give us directions on how to get there. They informed us of all places to eat and we’re would be the best places. Every evening we came back they would ask us how our day was and welcome us back. They organized transfers for us when needed and taxi SUV to the airport. The front desk staff always had a smile for us and also welcomed us back every evening. The housekeeping staff were so friendly and keep our rooms so clean and tidy and replenished our snacks and that every day. They truly are amazing people and I would highly recommend staying in this hotel. I will definitely be back to this hotel on my return to New York. Well done to all the staff in the Artezen Hotel and a special thank you to Carbello and Daniel. From the Irish folks Charlotte, Marion, Shauna, Daniel, Annie and Caoimhe…
Our 3 night stay was fabulous! The staff is top notch. The concierge(s) were stellar and proved to be a huge help. While the room is predictably compact, it is so well appointed (and clean!) all our needs were met. The downtown location proved ideal - eateries, stores, restaurants, an Irish pub and a subway station are in easy walking distance. We also walked to WTC/Oculus, Battery Park, City Hall, Wall Street/Federal Hall, Tenement Museum, South Street Seaport. I would recommend the Artezen Hotel in a heartbeat.

Very very amazing hotel
This hotel is a treasure. My weekend stay was flawless from check in to checkout. Exceptionally clean and comfortable rooms with excellent staff and service. They alerted me immediately for an item I had left in the room after checkout. Above and beyond. Thank you!
A block from the Fulton Street metro center makes the Artezen an obvious choice. What you find out when you check in is that the staff is welcoming and ready to help at all times. They even put out a rack of umbrellas when it rained! Beds are super comfortable. Bathrooms nicely renovated. Room size is what you would expect for being an older structure in an older neighborhood. Did hear a neighbor's very loud tv which fortunately wasn't on all night. Very close to World Trade Center, Seaport, Chinatown, Brooklyn Bridge (yes, NYC is made for walking) and practically every subway line you can think of in Manhattan. Would stay here again.
Clean, friendly and welcoming experience. Every employee was upbeat and helpful. Directions in the neighborhood were always correct and recommendations informed. The room was small but very well laid out. We didn't feel cramped. The HVAC worked well.
Absolutely beautiful hotel-small rooms but no different than many of the hotels in the area. Rooms were very clean, bathroom clean and very nice. Bed was very comfortable and nice to have a fridge in the room as well as a small desk. Staff was exceptional-so helpful and we would have not gotten around so easily without their guidance. Carmelo was exceptional-sharing his experience of 911 at our asking as well as his guidance for places to eat and using the subway. He is a true gem for the hotel. Hotel security was excellent as well. Would absolutely stay there again and recommend this hotel to friends and family. Cannot wait to go back!
Was in town for a couple of days and wanted to find a hotel aware from the craziness of Times Square, etc. On a side street, close to Fulton Station with easy access to the subway and shopping. The room was on the small side but clean, but could use better towels. There is a gym on-site, was extremely small, however there was a separate yoga/stretching area.
