Room very nice, central location, and nice basic breakfast. What to expect from a Hampton Inn, but overpriced. Why would a room rate double the week after a holiday? Other than the price good stay. A block from Port Authority, lots of stores and restaurants walking distance, all in all good choice.

Picked this hotel as the ones we have stayed at previously were either fully booked for thanksgiving or were too expensive . Got a great deal on Expedia for this hotel after reading previous reviews . I have to say my reasons for not liking it are personal to me and my family and I'm aware that others would not...

My sisters and I decided that we wanted to take a last minuted trip to NYC. I got on my Hilton App to check prices and was happy to be able to find a hotel for this price. My husband was also glad for a cheaper city hotel price. So off we went. We arrived around 11pm. This hotel is...

Would definitely stay here again! Just finished a 5-night stay. Great place to use as a home-base. Subway nearby (2 blocks). Quick walk to Times Square and other midtown sites. Vacationed with my 14 year-old daughter. Most nights we were returning to the hotel after midnight. Felt safe leaving the busyness of 8th Ave and walking the short way on...

We stayed there for 2 days for me and my wife. Location is ok, room is comfortable though quite small, good side is that we had breakfast and unlimited coffee. generally satisfied with the experience but I fee it's quite expensive

Staff was friendly and attentive, the room was clean and quiet. Free wifi and complementary breakfast was fully stocked and good quality. Great location only a few blocks from port authority and Times Square.

Just returned from a five night stay in the Hampton Inn Times Square South. The staff are outstanding and incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient. The room was comfortable and clean. I stayed on a lower floor, so the street noise was quite annoying. It's a cozy hotel, only six rooms per floor, with some pretty tight...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
