We enjoyed staying at this small boutique hotel in midtown Manhattan. Nice restaurants and Starbucks close by. Subway just a block away. We had a room with a private bath which was nice! Elevator was out of service on our last day- had to walk down 8 flights of stairs with luggage. Management should bring in help to carry luggage...

Just come back from a great 9 days holiday in new york. We found this hotel to be brilliant location aprox 20 mins walk to times square. Also the hotel is close to the subway which was very quick cheap and easy to use with a little help from good old google. We had a shared bathroom which was exceptionally...

My friend and I stay here every time we go to Manhattan. It's in a great location, close to everything. The hotel is old fashioned, but that's what gives it it's charm. Rooms are clean and cozy. Never had an issue with the shared bathroom, always been clean and mostly available. Staff is very friendly. And the best part is...

Hotel is old fashioned in style but clean and comfy. Our room wasn't very big but we had our own bathroom and we were comfortable. We could hear noise from the street below so were glad we had our ear plugs with us..well this is the city that never sleeps! On the whole it was ok and I wouldn't be...

If you like intrigue, character, a slightly bit low end but large in personality. This is the place. Look at it as The Shining Hotel without the hugeness or scary guy running around with a knife. It's really a sweet, very modest hotel. If you look for uniqueness over luxury, this is your place. Their description, "European Hotel" refers to...

Unparalleled value and location in Manhattan. Shared hall bathroom was cleaned after every use by an attendant. The room was basic but Queen though it's spelled like roach powder. All things considered it was a pretty good deal and I would stay again.

Great, quirky little hotel....reminds me of something form Ghostbusters, in a good way! Ideal location for exploring, spotlessly clean and comfortable (very soft beds tho!) The rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh towels and the staff were all polite and friendly. We had a family room on 8th floor so can't comment on shared bathroom. The only downside was a...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

“I was happy with my room although I didn't see any others for comparison. My room had a sink and vanity unit, a small desk, TV and a room safe, all of which I made regular use of (I presume all other rooms had the same). Good maid service, room made up to a high standard every day”
