We stayed for 16 nights and loved it! The place is so neat, clean and comfortable and the service is fantastic. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Best breakfast buffet ever with so many choices. Location is great, so close to everything. Charlie the cat is an added bonus! We would highly recommend and would definately return!

We have stayed several times before and always loved it, but we have not visited for almost 3 years, and our "home from home" in NYC is almost better than our own home ! I would not have thought it could have got better, but it has ! You will never go near one of the chain hotels again after...

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful break at Chelsea Pines. We stayed there a couple of weeks ago for my boyfriend's 30th birthday, and the only bad part about the trip was having to leave. The hotel was wonderful, clean, with friendly helpful staff (loved Daniel!) and the Breakfast was amazing and really set us up for the day...

Right from the start we were impressed, with friendly staff who gave us an introduction to the area (including restaurants, local attractions, etc.), excellent breakfasts, a great atmosphere in which you really felt at home in, and of course, Charlie the cat! In addition to the free wifi in the rooms, there is also a business centre, with a couple...

Friendly and helpfully staff. Comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast. Close to subway in a great neighborhood. Rooms are decorated with beautiful fun movie posters with each room having a different movie star theme. We had a wonderful stay!

Located very close to the subway and the Meat Packing District. Chelsea and the West Village are reasonable walks. They responded very quickly to email during the reservation process. When we checked in the very attentive front desk person gave a complete overview of the hotel and the area while one of the houseboys took our luggage up to the...

I visit New York City multiple times a year and the only hotel I will stay in is Chelsea Pines Inn. Why? Because the attention to service is outstanding. They treat me as a regular yet I'm left alone to do my own thing. Jay, Al and the rest of the team including Charlie the cat are superb. The rooms...

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
