Annually I go somewhere for MDW and this time I decided to spend it in the Financial District in NY. This hotel hit all the checks for me. It had free wifi, a mini-fridge and easily accessible to a lot of great places to eat/explore. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and possibly soundproof because I didn't hear any noise outside my room.

Charming boutique-like hotel located in a quiet alleyway in the Financial District. Great recognition of Globalist benefits, welcome bubbly at check in, upgraded room, breakfast vouchers delivered at check in. Speaking of which, the breakfast at Felice was delicious, although service was rather slow. The rooms were good sized for New York standards and clean. Bottled water was given daily. Not much of a view but YMMW. Molton Brown amenities were nice and smelled great.

Booked this hotel in the Financial District for a long weekend. The hotel and room were exceptionally clean and spacious. Comfy beds and everything we needed. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Absolutely will be staying here again!

The hotel is located at the centre of Business District. The front desk is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean with spotless linen and necessary infrastructure. Tea/coffee maker was also available on request. Had a great stay.

Gild Hall is a gem in Manhattan. Good value compared to other places around. My room was clean, comfy, quiet and I slept well. I am from Chicago and loved how close this was to my conference and many other things like the Hudson River walk with gorgeous views of Statue of Liberty, etc. I loved the gold paint in the elevators which helped because they were pretty slow. But overall, great experience. I did not get a chance to eat here but the restaurant/ bar area looked fun.

We stayed in a Thompson in Chicago and it was really great so I decided to try this one out too. First of all, the entrance is kind of boring like you could miss it. I don't know what can be done about that. The lobby is really cool. The staff were very professional and kind when we arrived early off our red eye flight. We left our bags and not knowing anything about the area we found the waterfront pretty fast and began our touring. We discovered so many things that were in close proximity to the hotel. The Staten Island Ferry and Statue of Liberty cruise tours were pretty close. As soon as we could check in and get a shower we did. The room is nice, but pretty small. We had 2 double beds I guess. The standards are definitely NYC, but nice. The bed was so comfortable that it made up for the small size. They offered complimentary alcohol in the evenings which was nice for me to offer my friend although I don't drink. It was a very nice touch. Wall Street and World Trade center stuff is really close. The subway is a quick walk if you're going further. NYC seems to have no subway pass for tourists which is a joke, but that is not on the hotel. 5 Stars at a very approachable price point. A hidden gem in FiDi. We booked Gild Hall for guests attending our daughter's wedding at nearby Liberty Warehouse(also highly recommended). The hotel exceeded our already high expectations and those of our discerning guests. The spacious rooms are clean, super comfortable with amazing bedding. The hotel has a chic boutique vibe. But what distinguishes it is the incredibly capable and friendly staff...from the bellmen and front desk, to housekeeping and even the maintenance staff. They take such pride in their teamwork with the goal of providing friendly first-class service, and it's apparent the moment you set foot in the door as their guest. Big shout out to Michelle Greves and Sang Choi who coordinated everything at the hotel for our guest block! Michelle provided our initial tour over a year ago and we've worked with her on this project ever since. She is as delightful as she is capable and the continuity was a real plus.
