This was one of my regular NY business trips. I chose this hotel pretty much based on price compared to the other Hilton properties. Everything was pretty much as expected. The room was a reasonable size for NY. The staff were pleasant, the room was clean and well presented. My only slight complaint (and common in NY) is that at...

Hampton Inn Manhattan on 35th is an excellent hotel to stay in at a bargain price. This hotel offers moderately great rooms, whereas other hotels in Manhattan might offer the same quality for several times the price. Location is good, not far from many attractions and the upgrade to an Empire State view is low cost. If you're looking for...

The hotel is in Midtown just 50 yards from the Harold square subway entrance. We enjoyed walking to the empire state building and Macy's within two blocks. We also easily walked to Times Square, Rockefeller Center and Madison Square Garden. The room was clean and the bed was large and comfortable. The room is not big but we didn't need...

Free Wi-Fi in the rooms. They had a buffet breakfast which was nice and plentiful, 2 minutes walk from Macys and 5 minutes from Broadway. Opposite...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
