Ana on reception and the catering manager guy at breakfast were ace. My room, 1304, had amazing views over Manhattan. The renovations made it a bit chaotic and the lifts took a long time - especially when one out of the two broke. A solid budget option but noise from construction site over the road - even 31 floors up.

I stayed here for my first visit to NYC in nearly 20 years. The room was clean but small for a double and very pricey. It's in a decent neighborhood not to far from Times Square which is a plus for visitors.

Upon arrival quite disappointed to find out major disruption of builders and decorators everywhere! Any kind of health and safety disregarded walking over tools and dust sheets etc!! Room was fine, we were lucky enough to be away from where the builders are working and also at the rear of the hotel where there is less noise. We were fortunate...

I have stayed here before, but this time was very disappointing. If I had known about the constructions/renovations- I would NOT have booked here. Upon arrival, the hammering & noise were so bad, I could not even here what the desk staff was telling me. The lobby was filthy, loud &had debris everywhere. One elevator was being used to store building...

Typical small room but clean and upgraded. Great view on top floors if you can tolerate the elevator. Lot of construction inside and across street but the room was nicer than expected. Management helped accommodate room change and Joirie at front desk couldn't have been nicer! Her friendly smile and personal attention to help fix the issue should earn her...

Bang on! In the heart of New York City!! Times square is a five minutes walk from the hotel! The staff is good and they have complimentary breakfast on the house which is great! The rooms are considerably quite small but at the price, it is good enough!

Another typical NY hotel with Phone-booth sized rooms. Bathroom was rudimentary and in Need of tlc. Breakfast is a jungle. Good location a little south of T Square but close to MDG. Staff Seemed overrun at all times.

Newly renovated hotel, very comfortable king size room, superb full breakfast, and a very friendly and helpful staff. The price for this experience in the Times Square area, less than $125/night. It is the best deal in Manhattan I have found, if anyone can beat it, let the world know.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
