This hotel is only one up from a hostel and more suited to young travellers on a budget. We paid nearly $140 per night for a small room and we stayed 5 nights/6 days. The reception staff are very helpful but do not communicate with each other and seem to change all to frequent which makes it difficult to go...

Didn't get off to the best start as booking in at reception found staff member was half a sleep!! Only used hotel for somewhere to sleep room wasn't the biggest but was clean and tidy great location for cash point/breakfast and subway! Found staff to be friendly and helpful and would definitely use again and recommend to anyone taking a...

My friend and I stayed here for one night, simply because we were joining a tour that departed from the hotel early in the morning. Look, I understand that the hotel itself is 'cheap'.. but we were extremely unimpressed. The beds were rock hard, which might have been a bit more tolerable if we weren't woken throughout the night by...

We read a few damning reviews before we arrived and I have to admit I was worried! However, on arrival we were met by a lovely guy who carried our bags up to reception where we were updated about everything from subways to local restaurants and the first guy even offered to get me some medicine from the chemist-very kind!...

Just returned from a fabulous break in New York. Can not believe some of the harsh reviews about the hotel, Ok so it's not a five star hotel, but your in New York, you do not visit New York to be sat in a hotel room everyday, this is a prefect base to explore the city, subway is directly outside...

This is definitely a budget experience. We were in NYC for the attractions and wanted to spend our money on that - Broadway shows, great restaurants, museums, etc. The hotel was just a place to crash at night. So here is the good and the bad so you can make up your own mind. Good - price, subway proximity is...

Absolutely gutted, had been recommended this hotel by a close family member, their barometer of hotel is obviously very low. The 1st room we were in was tiny, horrendously hot, wardrobe space was tiny and the air conditioning unit was so noisy that we could not use it. We got moved after a night, the room was cooler but the...

So you pay your money you take your chance, this is perhaps the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, I've been round the world as well to this world country's. Cold tap Cold shower Dirty bed Small rooms Banging all night long Phone doesn't work Dripping sound all night long from other people's bathroom, possible damaged pipes What a shame...

Booked through Lastminute.com. Paid £1300 including flights for a 5 night/6 day stay over Halloween. 5th floor but don't mind stairs. Not great for people with limited mobility as there is no lift. Taxi 50 mins from JFK was around $58. (roadworks causing delays). THE WEBSITE IS OUT OF DATE. There is no bar and the photos must have been...

Arrived here on 7th Nov. After checking in and holding full amount on my card for two rooms we were then told you may not be happy with the rooms we have left! They were the size of a box, no phone, lamps or soft furnishings but worse than that they were filthy, stains on the bed a brick wall...
