Great hotel located on 49th street in the heart of everything and right in the Broadway theatre district. The pricing structure is at least $30-50 cheaper per night than most of the surrounding hotels and the rooms are quite modern and clean with no musty smell. We stayed on the top floor just below the penthouse and my only complaint...

I stayed in The Time for 9 nights, with my family, in a room with a living room. My twin girls slept on the sofa bed which was very comfortable. We were on the 16th floor and had no problems at all with the elevators, which we found to be fairly fast. The staff we very efficient and Lisa went...

Super hotel. Perfect base to explore NYC. Staff are really friendly. Rooms are a good size and very clean. The 'Do Not Disturb' button is a fab idea. Very close to all the Theatres. We haven't eaten here so can't comment on the restaurant. Lovely bar area. Highly recommend. We will come back. :)

This hotel is a true gem. From the warm greeting by Ed the doorman to the energetic check in by Chris, the entire staff was wonderful. The spaces are modern and sparse, yet comfortable and welcoming. My room was perfect: Very simple yet luxurious with everything I needed. The USB ports in the bedside table and the TV hidden behind...

[Below is the original review I posted after staying at this property. A couple of days after I posted it, a customer support person called me and, after explaining that my review had actually helped address some issues at the hotel, proposed me to refund one of the 4 nights. He also suggested that I mention this "positive outcome" by...

Every employee we encountered during our stay was courteous and helpful. I have never experienced this level of customer service in NYC previously. The check in process was fast and it was easy to find the room. The room itself was clean and we were so impressed that we hardly heard noise from the street below. The room was comfortable...

Loved the location and decor of this hotel. It was so easy to get around from here, and we were always welcomed back with a smile. Whilst our room was small - which I expected in comparison to hotels at home - we were still able to feel comfortable and made the space work. We overlooked the front street and...

It always amazes me when I review what I think is a good hotel to see over 150 'terrible' listings... I am not sure the benchmarks everyone sets is consistent and certainly I wouldn't put the Time into this category. The Time is a stylish slightly quirky mid town boutique hotel in a great location. Cool and understated, it has...

I will round up to 4 bubbles for my stay. The hotel was nice - check-in was very easy. Our room, 901 (superior king) had views of other close-by brick buildings which kept out the street noise. You could hear the elevator pretty distinctly, so we turned on the air to drown it out at night, which worked. The room...

Booked this hotel for a birthday four day trip away as a couple. Upon check-in we were greeted by reception and a very friendly gentleman who wished me a Happy Birthday. He also took the time to enquire how our flight was. We were also asked if we needed assistance with our luggage. Our room had been upgraded by reception...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
