If you are looking for run of the mill corporate accommodation inNew York then the Mercer is not the place for you. Little things make this hotel very special, for me it is the fact that I always seem to get the same room, or at least that was the case until my last visit, when I was upgraded. All...

Would definitely recommend this hotel. It is located right between SoHo and Greenwich and you can pretty much walk anywhere from it. The staff were always very helpful and friendly and the rooms nicely done up.

We were a large party: 6 people ranging in age from 90 to 6 years old. The Mercer did a wonderful job of accommodating all of our different needs. As other visitors have noted, this is a small, cozy and, above all, comfortable hotel with a great location and a fine eye for details. The décor is stylish; the amenities...

Fabulous New York experience. Beautiful large room with a tremendous bath tub large enough for laps. Service was fantastic and the bar/restaurant is excellent. Look forward to returning and to exploring Soho lots more.

I've tried everything in NYC! The Mercer is always on top. I like to have a room with a view on Prince street and Mercer right at the corner! Most of my business meeting in NY happen there in the lobby! A must! The kitchen is great as well. I know there are a lot of other new places and...

Stayed at the Mercer for a couple of nights during a business trip to NY. Small, cozy hotel property with nice rooms (great showers by the way). Lobby was under construction during my stay but great place to catch a drink, bite to eat, coffee. Good location to explore Soho, Greenwich, the rest of Lower Manhattan. Almost feels like you...

I stayed at the Mercer for a business trip and it was an excellent location and the rooms were very modern and comfortable. The restaurant below is also highly recommended, food was very good with an extensive wine list. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely be back!

Hard to believe this property is nearly twenty years old......and it's still got 'it'. Nearly perfect SoHo location. 'On it' Staff that aim to please. Room service from Jean George's Mercer Kitchen. Simple loft-like rooms. Particularly fine service from housekeeping and the front door guys! A few highlights: Chic lobby designed by Christian Liagre. Fun/understated hollywood/music industry crowd (with some...

I hosted a trunk show at The Mercer on the 28th of May, for fashion company. After multiple conversations with the reservations team I was assured continuously that having an open trunk show where guests would be coming in and out throughout the day and evening was absolutely fine. Upon arrival on the 28th, we were escorted to view the...

Dear Cheryl Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. I recall this incident and regret that you felt you were treated unkindly. We have a responsibility to all of ours guests and preventing noise issues is a big part of that. At the time you booked your showroom, the number of people you were expecting...

This is THE place to hang out with locals and celebs in Soho, if you're into that. It has a fun vibe, and there is a very nice "crowd". The Mercer Kitchen is a hot spot too, and food is good. Front desk staff was very attentive and courteous and management very professional. However, there were a few glitches that...

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
