I booked my Dad's trip at The Mark because it is close to my apartment and I love everything about this hotel. My Dad and his wife had the best time and really enjoyed the hotel. I usually don't write reviews but they asked me to write something on their behalf since they absolutely loved their stay at The Mark....

I had the opportunity to stay in the Madison Suite at The Mark earlier this year. It was a great experience! The suite was very luxurious from the marble bathrooms to the comfy beds. The Mark also sent up chocolates and wine, which was a great surprise for a special night in the city! Would highly recommend the hotel for...

My wife and I decided to stay at The Mark Hotel for our wedding anniversary, and it was truly an unforgettable weekend. From the moment we stepped in, we were amazed by the elegant style, yet warm & welcoming atmosphere. Our bags were taken, and the check-in was swift. Not only did they upgrade our room, but they gave us...

The Mark is absolutely elegant and chic. I loved the location! Only steps away from Central Park (with branded pedicabs that you can take for a ride) and countless designer boutiques along Madison Avenue. Not to mention The Met is a short walk up the street. The Mark Restaurant by Jean Gorges was absolutely delicious (I recommend the Crispy Sushi...

For the past few years we have attended the US Open and stayed at The Mark. It is always a treat! The rooms are large and nicely appointed. The bathrooms are fabulous. I particularly enjoy the fragrance of the soaps. Location is great for shopping, service is truly 5-star and the rooms are wonderful. Elegant and comfortable at the same...

My wife and I recently stayed at the Mark for the first time for a weekend getaway in New York. The word that pops into my head whenever I think about the Mark is luxury. From the moment we walked into the lobby we knew the Mark was unlike most NYC hotels. The staff we checked-in with was both friendly...

My wife has been staying regularly at the Mark Hotel for several years and I occasionally stay there with her as well. We booked last minute to see a show and were graciously put into a large 2 bedroom suite as the UN meeting was ready to take place. The room was really a nice apartment, kitchen and laundry facility...

Deepest apologies from all of us here at The Mark for the inconvenience you encountered during your most recent stay. I must admit that it is rather disheartening to read this review, as I had personally discussed this matter with your wife and offered multiple forms of recovery (which have already been acknowledged) in hopes of rectifying this situation. Please...

This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I actually Have a lovely apartment in NYC, but had some out of town guests come and offered them my apartment as they were a large family. I thought, oh how fun I'll stay at some of the hotels I always wanted to try out so I can...

I am deeply sorry that your stay was anything less than perfect. We truly value the feedback of our guests and to learn that we were unable to meet your expectations as a first time guest is rather disheartening. While the rates of our rooms do offer accommodations within a luxury hotel in the heart of Manhattan, they also reflect...

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
