Amazing place, wonderful service, everything is beautifully done. The staff is incredibly attentive and polite, from reception to the people cleaning the rooms. The rooms are beautiful and immaculate. Highly recommended and worth the price.
This was the second time my wife and I have stayed at The Mark. After an ok experience our first visit, the hotel encouraged us to come back. And what a totally improved experience we had. The hotel absolutely delivered on its reputation. From our greeting and check-in process, to the concierge, to the service throughout the stay - we felt like valued guests at a premier hotel. We stayed in a Manhattan Suite, which was homey, comfortable and clean. The hotel went out of their way to add personal touches - like the welcome note and flowers, and small bites before dinner, among others. The natural service and culture of generosity is what makes the few elite luxury properties stand out from the rest of the pack. The Mark stands out in that regard. Thanks to all of the staff that helped orchestrate the experience we had. Molly, Hardy, Eric, Patrick, Gabriella, and many others behind the scenes. We look forward to recommending the hotel to our friends and going back soon.…
After a splendid luncheon at The Mark, with Sea Scallops by Jean-Georges, what a wonderful delight it was to visit the bookstore ASSOULINE adjacent to the Lobby on the left side as you are leaving. Got one extra Christmas gift in their crimson enamel shopping bag. I bet ASSOULINE is the smallest bookstore in all of Manhattan. All the handsome luxury gifts books were there, just like at the Plaza, but it was not small in very personal service from a delightful lady named Francesca. Frankly, I luncheon at The Mark to reward myself for going to the dentist, but I think I'll go more often, so I can go back to sweet ASSOULINE.
I just returned from 5 nights at the Mark and marvel at how the team there has kept high standards firmly in place, service is still impeccable yet the atmosphere cordial and not stiff. No detail of a past visit or a past request is forgotten, eg this trip I had housekeeping and turn down at the time I had previously requested.
It is a challenge to correctly ascribe the feeling I get when visiting this hotel. Sure, I can use words and phrases such as "luxurious", amazing, customer service oriented, etc...... they area all true; however, in my opinion these words are thrown around way too liberally to describe many hotels and really should be reserved for a handfull of properties worldwide...The Mark hotel belongs in that ultra exclusive category of the finest hotels in the world. I have stayed at this property 8 times in the past 2 and a half years, and every single time the service and amenities and the customer experience were phenomenal...talk about consistency (a rare thing in the post COVID world of hospitality services). The exceptionally friendly Porters (doormen) Peter, Michael, Aslan, Farid and others, as well as the attentive staff in the front (Maura), and manager Molly all made a thoughtful effort to make our last stay memorable: It was my birthday and a gift, hand written note and a bottle of bubbly was waiting in our room. I cannot recommend this property enough …
We celebrated our one-year wedding anniversary at The Mark this past weekend and it was everything we could have hoped for! We had such fond memories of staying there last year for our wedding and all those memories came flooding back thanks to the wonderful staff at The Mark and the treatment we received. They even treated our dog like royalty. We had to drag him out of there the morning we checked out because he loved the dog bed provided so much- he didn't want to leave! Special shoutout to Molly and her team who put a few extra goodies in our room to celebrate the occasion. We can't thank you enough for making us feel extra special on our celebratory weekend. We look forward to coming back!
The staff at The Mark is extremely friendly and very accommodating! The attention to detail is in everything. Not to mention how beautiful and well maintained the hotel is. I feel welcomed and taken care of whenever I’m there. It my favorite!
My sisters and I travel from Portland, Oregon, once a year for a week in New York: Broadway plays, Central Park, museums, music, and fantastic food. Staying at The Mark puts it right over the top - in every regard. When Farid greets us at the curb, we know we are home! The rooms are tremendous. The staff is unmatched in warmth and helpfulness. The meals are exquisite - whether taken via room service or in the restaurant or on the sidewalk! it is rare to find a place that honors fruits & vegetables the way they do; they showcase these beauties perfectly. (As a vegetarian, this is particularly noticed!) 843 magnificent acres of Central Park at your door! And each morning the best pot of coffee you'd ever hope for! All of this makes for heaven. We would stay nowhere else.
We have been here less than 24 hours and so far the amazing staff has far exceeded any other luxury 5 star hotel we have ever stayed at and we are frequent travelers! The first reason is that the hotel manager upon meeting my husband gave us his personal cell phone number and told us if we need anything, even a towel, to call him. In the many 5 star hotel (including diamond 💎) this is a first for a manager to do. Secondly, we just got in from 🇮🇹 Italy and I am experiencing some jet lag and asked for tums which they did not have on hand but promptly went to CVS and brought them to our door. They also had on hand a European adapter that we needed for a device we purchased abroad. They brought it up in a tiny bag with The Mark’s logo stamped on the front. Thirdly, the room service has already gone above and beyond by bringing all kinds of fresh fruit and nuts and cookies that we didn’t order just to be nice and give that extra warmth and welcome. The beds are amazingly soft & comfortable. Every amenity here at your fingertips including cordless chargers by the bed, a button to lower blackout shades and heated bathroom floors and towel hangers. The staff are all amazing, warm, friendly and go beyond to make you feel welcomed and not a guest but more like a well known VIP. Well done to all of the wonderfully warm and kind staff here at The Mark Hotel! Jerrod & I are blown away & will never choose another hotel to stay at in NYC. 🗽 ♥️…
My husband and I just had the most fabulous staycation at The Mark. We were honestly wowed by the stellar service at this beautiful jewel box of a hotel on the best block of the Upper East Side. Our gorgeous spacious room, replete with a fabulous Carerra marble bath, was stocked with goodies upon our arrival. Stunning roses, chocolates, fresh fruit, a cookie platter…honestly it was such a lovely surprise and kick off to our stay in the city. The room was so airy and bright, with seemingly endless closet space and a beautiful view of the skyline. Breakfast at Jean Georges was impeccable as well. I want to thank Molly at guest relations for assisting with our lovely stay. She is amazing and left no stone unturned. We can’t wait to go back to the Mark!
