We read many positive reviews of this hotel, but it was even better than expected. Check-in was quick and efficient. We had room #906 with a king size bed. Though small, it was comfortable and very nicely decorated. There was a small desk with a chair, bedside tables, and a larger unit that included the television. The best thing was...

Comfort Inn Midtown is a gem! Comfortable beds, with everything you need in the room. But lets face it, who wants to stay in your room when you are in NY. Right off times square this is the perfect location to get anywhere. The area is safe and the staff helpful. A particular mention to the guy that checked me...

This was the highlight of our trip. We expected an old room in an old hotel, but found a very modern room, great service and a perfect location. We were within a 2 minute walk to Times Square, and another 2 to the Subway, restaurants galore and dozens of shops. It is very obvious that the hotel had a professional...

This was my first visit to New York. The location of the hotel allowed us to visit the Opera House, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Cloisters. The hotel is right off Broadway, 2 blocks from Time Square. Travelling by subway was easy thanks to the superb and friendly advice of the personnel at the hotel. They allowed us...

My husband & I spent 4 nights at this hotel while sightseeing with friends. Having been in NYC several times and paying twice the price at other hotels, this was a very pleasant surprise! Great Times Square location! While the rooms are not large, they are adequate and nicely appointed. Everything was very, very clean. The staff was quite friendly...

We paid $135/night during the height of the tourist season for this newly renovated room a block off of Times Square. The rooms are small, but very comfortable. If possible, request an 01 or 02 room - they're on the corner and quite a bit larger. I highly recommend this hotel, and it will be my go-to hotel for all...

I've stayed in NYC many times and have paid triple for hotels that did not even come close to the value and convenience of the Comfort Inn Midtown. Rooms were spotless, continental breakfast was included (bagels, toast, cereals, yogurt, fruit), the business centre didn't charge for internet access or printing of boarding passes, the location was fantastic especially for seeing...

I have traveled to NYC many times in the last couple decades and this may have been the best deal for a hotel I have seen. It's spotless, located in the center of everything, close to several subway stops and the rooms are sized nice. The staff was also VERY nice. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to...

This hotel was $140/night which is basically cheap by NYC standards unless you want to stay in a crackhouse like the Madison Hotel. It was a small room but had everything you needed, even a flat screen t.v. which is just for show since everyone knows when you're visiting NYC you're hardly going to be in your room! However, having...

My bf and I stayed her in mid-May 2009 and had a wonderful time. The hotel was in a perfect location (few blocks from Time Square and Rockefeller Center) and provided all the things that we needed. Our room had it's own safe which was very nice to have. The room was relatively quiet with it's location and the general...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
