I got a great rate at this hotel for a weekend in February. The hotel was quite clean, perfectly located near the 2nd Ave (F line) station and a short walk to the Prince Street station for the R and W lines. The area around the hotel is hopping with restaurants, bars and just people everywhere. I'm quite a bit...

Stayed for a week. Great location, subway station within meters of the hotel. Plenty of bars, diners, restaurants, a supermarket nearby. Close to Little Italy and Chinatown. Room is a bit small, but it's modern and it was fine for me. Great roomy bathroom. Can be noisy though as there is a nightclub across the road. Nice rooftop terrace.

The Hotel East Houston is clean, comfortable and the staff is really helpful. It's surprisingly quiet. They have coffee and tea available on the ground floor. Don't expect large rooms or lots of amenities. But it's clean, affordable, and you don't have to share a bathroom. The F train is on the same block, which makes it super easy to...

We thought this hotel was great. The location is fantastic, the staff are really helpful, there is free tea and coffee all day. The rooms are the tiniest bit shabby but it really is no big deal - if you are going to care about a couple of scuff marks on the wall then this sort of place in this...

I have been here for one night only! It was a good stay, front desk staff was friendly, room very clean and although small didn't seem too crowded. I felt very comfortable and slept very well. The neighbourhood is ok, not in the city centre but small distance from the subway. Reasonable pricing,i recommend it.

We stayed there for 4 nights. Room was comfortable and clean. Roof terrace with fantastic view was a bonus. The only issue was that the wifi was patchy, worked on and off. Virtually next door is a great Landmark Sunshine cinema, famous Katz Deli, The hotel is very close to Greenwich Village, Little Italy, China Town etc. lots of cool...

Great location with a lot of bars and restaurants, good service but wifi was not working for our entire stay. That was very inconvenient and we would not pick this hotel if we knew there was no Internet offered.

We were in New York for two weeks with some friends for work. We stayed in this hotel for a week. The first issue we had was with the beds. I have travelled a lot around the world but these beds were among the worst I have ever slept in. The mattress must have been twenty years old and the...

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights I would agree with the majority of the reviews. We liked the location it was good to be away from the hectic that is Times Square. Full of young trendy people in the bars and eating establishments in the area and there are plenty. We had breakfast from heaven bagels , sandwich...

A small boutique hotel. Don't be put off with the small rooms, you're in NYC, I spent most of the time in the city not in hotel room. The rooftop terrace is by far my best bit with the free coffee till 5 pm. The hotel clean, great location with a subway stop just 2 minutes away. 10 min walk...
