Such a quaint, cozy little slice of heaven. We visted in October for the fall foliage and my Birthday getaway. We stumbled upon this quaint lodge, the property is beautiful and the rooms are cozy and clean. It was just what we needed! We decided to bring the kids back in December and we all had such an amazing time,...

Very relaxing weekend. staff was great. stayed in room in the Mill itself right next to the lake & dam. defiantly going to come back again. One of the best places to get away from it all, but close enough to eating places, stores, interstate.

My son and I spent 2 nights at the Mill House. How glad I am that we didn't decide to stay somewhere commercial and "mainstream". This spot was so peaceful, remote and quiet! Each morning was a riot of beauty as we looked from our lakefront windows from the Jordan Lodge. Great wide windows that span the entire length of...

The Mill House Lodge is located on a small road that winds through the quiet town of Flat Rock. Our reserved room is actually a small apartment…bedroom, living room, small kitchen and bath. And a balcony with chairs with a view of the large pond. Everything is clean and the décor is comfy rather than stylish. You can certainly make...

One of the most relaxing places we've ever stayed. Beautiful views with the lake and vista up the lake with the leaves changing. Very nice people running the place. Only minutes from Flat Rock Playhouse and the Carl Sandburg home.

The lodge is on a small pond. The rooms are large with space for families. The property and rooms are clean and well-maintained. The bed are comfortable and there is plenty of hot water. Wifi is not of useful strength. No breakfast but a great bakery is 0.3 miles walking distance away. The beautiful, restful, relaxed peace and quiet is...

Very much enjoyed our night. We stayed in Suite 101. Very comfortable, spacious and clean. We had just left Grove Park Inn and enjoyed our night here more. Bed slept just as good and a lot more space.

There is a possibility that were I a view orientated vacationer this might have been nice but sadly I am not. The location is pretty remote and though the rooms are pretty clean it is definitely outdated. The location was fully booked so the noise through the walls was a definite negative. Another issue is that check in time is...

Vey friendly staff and accommodating do to our late arrival time. We loved the quietness of the lodge and the scenery was beautiful. The rooms are no frills but we spent most of our time out and about. There are canoes for the lake and an area for fishing. Very quiet which was perfect for our family. The kitchen was...
