We were there end of August for 2 nights and it was a very nice campground with beautiful view on the red rocks. The children enjoyed the pool by the hot weather at day time. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Thousand Lakes has a small number of tent sites. They are small but separated from each other by a wooden wind and privacy fence. The campground has very clean bathrooms and showers, a dishwashing area in the laundry, and a covered pavilion where you can eat in inclement weather. The views from the campground are beautiful. It is quiet and...

You really appreciate camping where you can see that a lot of thought has gone into creating a pleasant, efficient and restful setting for campers. Lots of trees, flat gravel pads, lots of space, great facilities and support services. Also a great vista from almost all locations. On the down side the wifi service was poor - camp operators have...

Great feel at this campground. Convenience store offered a wide variety of craft beers and homemade muffins each morning. They also had a large outdoor eatery serving things off the grill like steaks, fish, ribs, burgers. I'm not sure if the food was good or not since we didn't partake, but nice for convenience sake. The best scenery for an...

This is a clean, quiet, well maintained campground thats close to Capital Reef National Park.. Roads and sites are gravel and easy to navigate. Sites are somewhat close together and a bit short for largest big rigs but you can make due. Sites are pretty level with good utilities. WiFi was extremely slow even with the park being fairly empty....

We stayed here for one night two weeks ago as part of a two week round trip. Really liked this site. Very friendly helpful staff. Great facilities and all very clean. Lovely little pool which the children really enjoyed. Great location too for touring national parks. We had a very spacious site with full hook up and a table. There...

The campground is nice - each site has a tree for some shade which is good because outdoor daytime temperatures in July were 100+ F although temperatures cool off nicely late in the evening to the 60s F. Site was fairly level and electric, water and sewer hookups worked well although water pressure was very weak. Satellite connection was difficult...

We are very used to staying in National Park campgrounds and state park campgrounds so this was a different type of camping for us. The spots are so close together, it was difficult to even put the bump-out of our motorhome out without creeping into the next person's spot. That being said, the showers were hot and clean and it...

Absolutely the best campground in Capitol Reef. The managers and staff were some of the nicest and most accommodating people ever!!! We had a beautiful view from our RV site. Each site has a tree for shade. They have a loaner program for sports equipment and for grills! They offer a dinner on select nights and fresh made muffins for...

The camp ground is real nice, spots can be tight with large trailers. Bathrooms were "no waiting", a little small when helping a child. Clean and everything worked. Souvenir shop is nice, workers are pleasant. A little grass for the kids, gravel drive ways. Some trees for shade. Wifi a little weak. Very nice views! 15 minutes from Capitol Reef,...
