Chose this place based on the great location in close proximity to Capitol Reef. Fabulous view from the balcony overlooking the red cliffs! Enjoyed visiting with the 8 horses in the nearby corral, though we did not do the trail ride. Our king bed room seemed recently refurbished, and it was clean and comfortable, although the bathroom was a bit...

I stayed in a king balcony room and, while a little pricey for one person, it was worth every cent. The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunrise. The hotel is about midway between Capitol Reef SP and the town of Torrey. Without driving, there aren't many choices for dining as the hotel's restaurant was not open...

The hotel looks like a dated hotel on the outside, but rooms are nicely refurbished and well appointed. We stayed just one night but had a very comfortable King suite which had a separate sitting room with wet bar, mini fridge and Keurig machine. Room was clean, and comfortable. Also had a very large, nice HDTV and free wifi both...

We stayed at Capitol Reef Resort 2 nights as part of our National Parks tour. We had read the good reviews on trip advisor but this facility was still a very nice surprise! The location is fabulous! Mountains just behind the buildings, open range cattle grazing, good food nearby, great heated outdoor pool and hot tub too. But the room...

It sure does not look like much from the outside, but do not let that deter you. I think the pictures show a different story, but we were not disappointed. If the hotel is not fairly new, it has been redone recently. We had a fabulous king suite with red rock views, so front to back rooms with a partial...

Great location. Closest motel near Capital Reef and not far out of Torrey. Ask for a room with a cliff view. It was great to sit on the balcony to enjoy the view. Room was very clean and modern. Very good breakfast buffet and very reasonable. Has laundry facilities and refrig. Places to eat nearby so you don't have to...

I chose Capital Reef Resort for the reasonable price and comparatively modern features compared to it'a competition in Torrey. An added bonus is that it is closest to the park as well as the best view (aside from camping at least). I enjoyed sitting out on the porch as the sun rose lighting the cliffs to the north in various...

Thank you for your recent stay with us! It is wonderful to know that you enjoyed the breathtaking view from your room, especially during sunset, as well as the comfortable beds and high speed Wi-Fi. We were given a suite which looked out to the rocks from the patio. We sat there with a glass of wine while the sun set. Stunning! We only stayed here one night and made an early start, so didn't have breakfast.

Capitol Reef Resort is just outside Capitol Reef National Park. We enjoyed our king room which had a balcony facing interesting rock formation. The room was modern but had some rustic touches like deer antler lamps, but didn't look quite as nice as the photos on the motel's web site. Otherwise it was pretty much your standard mid-level motel with...

My husband and I stayed here one night after visiting Grand staircase escalante national monument and driving to Bryce Canyon the next morning.
