Had a advanced reservation. Room was not ready at 6:30 p.m. Was told ready in twenty minutes after serveral comments of sarcasm by the owner. After 40 minutes room ready. Room very small for two with hunting gear. You will be charged extra if you wear your footwear past the entrance. Went to a different B&B second night, room nicer...

We staged here before and after our trip into the wilderness. The rooms were large and comfy. Kitchen facilities complete. We were able to eat our breakfasts and cook our lunches and dinners and saved some money (Alaska is expensive). We got an orientation and suggestions for restaurants and walks. This is a small place and you can walk anywhere...

We visited Kotzebue to travel by bush plane to Kobuk Valley and Gates of the Arctic National Parks. We stayed two nights at Bibber's BNB (we paid $125 per night using the offered cash discount) and had a very relaxing stay. Since weather worked out and we completed our plane tour the first day we arrived, we had the rest...

Jean is very helpful. We were in a room that shares a kitchen & bath. Our room had 2 beds, was spacious, and had a tv. No a/c or fan, beds not all that comfortable. Bathroom fine but wait for the hot water to get there. Kitchen was nice to have but not enough basic supplies to make our breakfast....

We stayed at Bibber's before & after an Arctic canoe trip, as I prefer to avoid large hotels. Based on experience of others in our group, though, I'd chose the hotel next time as it was reported to be clean, pleasant, well run, & not busy. Jean, the B&B proprietor, does not live on the property but was available by...

Jean was extremely helpful and accommodating. My husband flew in as a surprise to me, and Jean immediately welcomed him and changed my reservation for two. We had a very clean, quiet room. We had access to a kitchen and living room area that was private and clean. We shared a bathroom with one man, and it was kept very...

Not a lot of choices in Kotzebue - and they're usually quite expensive. Bibber's was fairly priced and provided a breakfast as well. Owner was very pleasant and engaging which made us feel welcome. Centrally located - not too far to walk - even from the airport or around town. Rooms were very basic - but warm, decent internet and...

Bibbers is cosy and warm and a great place to stay. It's like home from home, especially after 21 days in the wilderness. It's really central too, in walking distance to stores, Parks HQ and airport and by far the best value in town.

This was my first time staying at Bibbers and it was such a great experience. We were in town for a training and the prices at the nearby hotel were astronomical! Neither of us have been here and we were pleasantly surprised. The "house" we stayed in was very clean as was the communal bathroom. The kitchen was stocked with...

Clean rooms, common bathrooms (w/bath & shower), reasonable rates, friendly owner, cable television, and centrally located to airport, restaurants, museum, bank, and gift shop. There is also a common kitchen area with breakfast items available and fridge to keep anything you buy or bring cold.

“Take a taxi from the airport. Just tell them you want to go to Bibber's. They all know what you are talking about. The door is on the right hand side of the building, near the back. I would call and get reservations ahead of time since they can fill up quickly.”
