The town of Kotzebue is a hub community in the Northwest Arctic region & serves as a center of commerce, transportation, tourism, and health services for this remote part of Alaska... so the Nullagvik Hotel is a very popular lodging facility that's well utilized by residents & visitors alike. It's rather astonishing to have a ultra modern hotel with a...

I have stayed at this hotel 4 different times in the last 11 years. It was one of only places in town. The place was a dump. The new hotel they built to replace the old one is very comfortable. The hotel has the look and feel of a Holiday Inn or Hampton. The rooms are spacious. The hotel staff...

This hotel is just okay. You are paying a lot, but that is because of the area, not the great hotel. They clearly have different housekeepers, and one of them is great- room is clean, bed is made, coffee and toilet paper restocked, etc. The others, not so great- I had to make my own bed one night, had to...

This is a nice hotel. Clean, cozy, and very comfortable. I did have two gripes, (though the overall experience was positive enough that I decided not to deduct a star.) First, we arrived in the room exhausted from a day of travel and decided to order room service rather than go down to the restaurant. We tried repeatedly to call...

This is a remarkably good hotel in a very small city in northwest Alaska. Kotzebue is not Anchorage. It is real Alaska. I've been to it several times to hike the western Brooks Range, to overfly the caribou migration, and to visit Kobuk Valley NP and Serpentine Hot Springs. There is extremely limited shopping, and there are very few places...

We got upgraded to a suite. The bed was nice and firm which we like. There was a microwave and refrigerator but no table and only one desk chair. There were laundry facilities right down the hall from our room--not cheap but certainly handy. There is no shuttle to the airport so you have to get a cab. It would...

I have stayed at this property several times. Each time the service was friendly and helpful. The rooms are modern and quite clean. Internet is free but very slow due to the poor service throughout town.

The hotel was nice (not just for Kotzebue). Internet connection was slow (about 0.5MB/S), but most hotels in Alaska have slow connections. Blackout curtains helped with the Arctic summer sun. Very expensive, but so is everything in Kotzebue. Overall, no complaints.

This was a great hotel considering the options for lodging in Kotzebue. The hotel is very clean and the rooms were nice sized. We had a great view over looking the water. We took at cab from the airport for $7.00 a person. The hotel is about less than half a mile from the airport. I actually walked back on...

Stayed there in Aug, 2016. hotel and room were very nice, though a bit on the expensive side. Did not see any other options! Food in the moderate to expensive range. I had their Reindeer in gravy one night and it was spectacular! There is also a Chinese and American restaurant virtually next door.
