I recently stayed at the Bristol hotel, the rooms were clean, however, the rooms are too noisy, I mentioned to the staff that the room above me had a child running around screaming and pounding on the floor. It was very difficult to get a hold of someone to assist you. No bellman services, no restaurant available.

The hotel is well located, we only spent the night since our flight was cancelled but the room was great, ohh the bed!so comfortable felt like sleeping in a cloud, very modern but classy at the same time, great taste in decoration. The amenities were great, everything was! The rate was awesome. I hope on my next visit I will...

Loved this hotel! Simple but classy foyer and rooms with really helpful staff. They even have a tablet set up in the room so you can check the weather and where to eat close by. The location was awesome! Close to really good restaurants and nightlife. Catching a cab to the airport is super cheap too ($12) because it's so...

I stayed here last week. I have to say that I was extremely pleased with everything. Where should I start? First off the staff was great, the valet who checked in the car named Arthur was very helpful, he opened the door for my fiancé and helped me with my bag. Chase, at the front desk was very welcoming, checked...

I can't comment for how the noise is here on a "typical" night, but we unfortunately stayed on a night when the City had to do "emergency" construction on the trolley. There was no sleeping through that noise, even with the earplugs provided. Had I known there was going to be construction happening outside my window, I would have cancelled...

Dear Jenn, Thank you very much for your recent stay with us and we are so sorry that it corresponded with the City's overnight roadwork. We were made aware at the last minute but did not know the extent of how noisy it would be. If that happens again in the future, we will definitely advise our guests so they...

Hotel is located between Gaslamp & Little Italy and only minutes from the Pier.... how could it not be a good location? You can walk everywhere, or walk one block to the train or call FRED and get free rides downtown! Hotel itself is nice, but for the money we paid each night we expected a bit better. Still- they...

Run down hotel, and lack of service as far as calling the hotel. Not the greatest neighborhood location as lots of homeless. Room was awful for the price. Would much rather stay at holiday inn then here.

The people are great! If you can get in a room Juana cleans you are lucky. The room is spacious enough and the bed comfortable. The picture of the room is true. They have done a nice job redecorating, especially since this is an older building. And the rate was very good. The unexpected street construction was over with by Monday...

I'm laying here at 10pm at the Bristol and have figured out why they put earplugs on the night stand. There's overnight construction going on below my window. It sounds like an orchestra of power washers and drills. Absolutely unbelievable to me that they didn't say anything at check in. There are plenty of options for hotels in this area....

The City of San Diego had scheduled overnight road work right outside of the hotel recently, which is what caused the noise you described in your review. We are so sorry about the noise and disturbance during your stay. Unfortunately, we are unable to control or change the City's road work plans, even though we certainly wish we could do...

Very nice and big room. The location is excellent. It is only a couple of blocks away from 5th avenue and it is also walking distance to Little Italy where lots of good food is. The staff was helpful and friendly, too.
