Front desk clerk "Jackie" was great. Went out of her way to ensure everything was as good as she could make it. Also great source for information about local area restaurants. My TV had a problem and while she could not completely fix it she personally came to the room to ensure that it worked for my needs. A very...

The phone in my room was not working. (Lucky we did not have an emergency) was unable to reach the front desk to regent extra blanket and pillows The remote did not work properly, had to use it manually. These were an inconvenience! A bit of advise, the handicap room I was in did not have a handicap space to...

First of all I drive a crew cab truck and almost couldn't fit in the parking lot. Then it took a while for the attendant to show up to check me in. Then the room was dirty!! Stains on the furniture, dried up food on the nightstand and the non smoking room smelled like smoke! I had to air it...

We are so disappointed to see your review. Our staff does a great job preparing the room for upcoming guests, so it is strange that this had happened! Please know that we will look in to this to ensure this does not happen again. As for the parking, we provide complimentary parking, but unfortunately, we cannot always facilitate all of...

When I was searching for lodging for a week long business trip the Travelodge was the least expensive for its location near the Gaslamp District and Convention Center. It is located in the Barrio Logan district but I felt perfectly safe there as a woman traveling alone. The rooms are good-sized and clean, with the basic amenities (fridge, microwave, coffee...

manager won't rent room to anyone that is darker than him, keep in mind that he's a dark Indian "manager". Rude to customers and employees, Witnesses him screaming at the young ladies at the front desk as well as the housekeepers while I was staying there.

The hotel is well kept (nothing falling down/apart; fresh paint). Costs much less than hotels across from the San Diego Convention Center. A cab is about $10 one way. Taxis and Uber, etc. are quickly available when called. The neighborhood is "challenged" (colorful?) but the local street folk did not bother us in any way. Breakfast is standard Continental, but...

Spend a bit more and go some where else. This hotel has very basic accommodations and the area around it is terrible. Homeless people and druggies all around this area. Tents and people sprawled out in the streets. Very small parking lot that is hard to get in and out of. The free continental breakfast was a joke. Stale pastries...
