Walkable (15-20 min) to Balboa Park museums, and 5 min to several good restaurants (Fresh Catch, Cucina Urbana) City location. Old building (1929, I think), rooms nicely refurbished in fun décor. Modern bathroom. Downside: squeaky floors. Quiet between rooms, but even closed, windows let in street noise. Limited kitchen was adequate for our few days stay. Very slow elevator; glad...

The rooms are lovely--reminiscent of Art Deco and Old World elegance. Rooms are surprisingly spacious and nicely appointed, including a ceiling fan, heating and AC, motorized window shade, well-equipped kitchen with dishes, silverware, pots and pans, cooktop, toaster, coffeemaker, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. It is located directly across from Balboa Park, so we spent several days exploring there. There is...

My now husband and I stayed at the charming Inn at the Park for two nights in February for our private downtown elopement, and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. We stayed in a deluxe one bedroom suite, and it was everything that we wanted--I really loved the design choices, very chic and pretty. The kitchenette had everything you...

We were very impressed by the size and decor of our king studio room. Very well appointed with ample space and seemed like a well stocked kitchen. We did not cook, so don't take my word if you are planning to make meals. We only used the wine glasses! There were 2 pull out beds in the very long couch....

We stayed in a studio with 2 queen beds for 4 nights. The rooms are clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. The mini kitchen was surprisingly well equipped. Trader Joe's is nearby as are a number of restaurants and a great juice bar. The location is perfect for enjoying Balboa Park in a safe area. We did the time share update...

We stayed for 2 nights and this place is located right next to Balboa Park so it was very convenient to get around places and staffs were very friendly. We stayed at 2 bedroom suite with park view and when I opened the door I was quite surprised at the size of the room. The living room was quite big...

I stayed here 3 days as an ex-San Diego native, on a treat vacation courtesy of a family member of Worldmark. That being said I still LOVED staying here. Just say a firm "no" if you do not want to participate in the timeshare sales and move on and enjoy! Everyone was so nice and the vintage decor was fun!...

We stayed two nights at this hotel booked through our Shell Vacations membership. This was our first time at this hotel and we were pleasantly surprised that the hotel was so nice. Great size room for two adults and two young children; the long sofa turns into two twin size beds. The fully stocked kitchen was modern and clean and...

Inn at the Park is convenient to everything we wanted to see - San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Coronado Island and a few places we learned about while there - Seaport Village and the GasLamp Quarter downtown. The hotel is really interesting. I enjoyed the decor and it even grew on my husband after a couple days. We appreciated having...

I stayed here for 3 nights with my sister and mom for an all girls weekend. We loved the newly renovated rooms. The only negative abour the room was that the beds were too hard. The location is pretty close to downtown, even though we did have a car. Valet is $15 per day, which is expected for a downtown...
