We stayed at the Hyatt Mission Bay while work was being done on our house. The pool and waterslides were a blast for my grandkids and the resort is very relaxing with lots of fun things to do as a family. The upper floors facing west offer the best view in San Diego. Really felt like vacation even though we...

The resort has two types of accommodations - the Tower (high-rise) or "suites" which are mini apartments in one of two 3-story, motel-like (enter from the outside) buildings. Both are on right on the marina. (Some suite rooms have no view, because they are blocked by the snack shop and another out building.) Overall, teh "resort" is pretty small. The...

Great hotel for a conference. My room had beautiful views of the bay. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The guest rooms are average nothing fancy, but comfortable. The location is only a 10-15 min drive from the airport, so you don't get the constant noise of aircraft overhead which is nice. Instead you might hear a seal barking...

It seemed promising. Being close to Sea World and offering a pool with water slides and fronting the harbor. All sounds good. And then you check in. Understaffed. Stayed in a Marina Family Room located on the opposite side of the main lobby. Valet parking was $37. The self parking area is actually located adjacent to the Marina Building. I...

This hotel was so loud for a luxury hotel and there were smokers on my floor. Light bulbs were out on the bathroom and bedroom. Don't prepay because you'll want out after the first night. It was always freezing from the wind tunnel created by all the buildings crowded together. Never again for this San Diego traveler.

Stay away from this hotel- we experienced terrible service, poor food, and dirty conditions. The pool area is a fridged wind tunnel and the life guards randomly close the water slides based on their own schedules. It's a chaotic and basic hotel.

I expected more of a Hyatt Hotel. Arrived at the at 3pm & just wanted to book in and find somewhere for lunch. There were two people at the front desk who were not with customers but did not even acknowledge our presents. Ten minutes later we were served and told there is a $100 pet fee. But we don't...

The location of the hotel is great! Close to SeaWorld and downtown. The view from our room was great! The views of the pool were great! The water slides are great for kids and adults! The mini slide is perfect! This is great option for a weekend getaway away from Los Angeles!

Fantastic accommodations for the family of 4 (including my 3yr old and 5yr old).
